  • Great plane, more for adults than kids durability wise
Product came fast but was a bit flimsy feeling

  • Cheap materials, faulty controls, should've listened to my mom
I am 11 y/o, my parents allowed me to spend my own money on this item. On the first flight it would not make a turn and I had to turn the plane off via the remote so that I would not hit our neighbor's house. It hit the ground and one of the motors popped off. I would think it would be able to handle a basic crash. Not long later, after reassembling it, I flew it again and it again was unresponsive. It landed on our roof and the wings came off! This item is made of styrofoam, and very cheap parts. I would not recommend this purchase to anyone because the controls are unresponsive, cheap & overpriced materials, and unable to withstand a basic crash (which WILL happen because the controls are unresponsive). I wish I'd listened to my mom who felt it would be an overpriced piece of junk. ... show more

Styrofoam plane not worth the money

  • Lost it during second flight on the first day
It was pretty much as expected and my son and I waited three days until there was no wind to fly it. There's definitely a learning curve to flying it. I took the first flight so my son could watch and get an idea of how to control it. He's not completely new as he has flown drones many times, however upon his first flight it got higher than I had flown and caught a bit of wind that almost immediately took it even higher and even though there was no wind on the ground there was more than enough to take the plane and regardless of how either of us tried to control the plane and pulled it into a updraft circular path that rapidly got both higher and further away. We only lost visual sight of it for seconds as it went well over an edge of a tree line but as we rounded the corner the plane was nowhere to be seen. This all took place in a time span of less than two minutes and again there was no wind on the ground and the trees were not showing any signs of any wind either but once it reached a certain hight there was a very noticable yet rather negligible breeze. We searched an area of close to a square mile or so at least and failed to locate it. Between the inexperience and the light weight of the plane the minimal breeze was more than enough to bring the plane up to a level where the controls had become irrelevant and the light color of the craft was soon very hard to see against the sky. I certainly do not blame the seller or manufacturer of the craft as it was admittedly operator error but I did feel that anyone contemplating purchasing one should take our experience into consideration. For those who may be wondering, I've already ordered a new one but this time it's a bright red color. ... show more

  • Great Fun!
We had a problem with the initial plane, the circuits did not work. The company was very quick in accepting the return and exchanging for another one. The second one works perfect and my kids love to get out to fly the RC plane. I foresee many, many hours of outdoor fun in their future. Anything that keeps them away from electronics (iPad, video games, etc.) is a win, win, in my book. Thinking of purchasing a second one. ... show more

  • Something was misconfigured out of the box
One of the propellers was blowing the opposite direction of the other. There are "A" and "B" propellers, presumably by design. The "B" (right) side was blowing the wrong way - obviously, that's not going to fly. I don't know if it was mis-wired, or the controller was misconfigured. At any rate, switching the "B" prop to one of the spare "A"s solved that problem. Unfortunately, control was still pretty terrible, with the plane wildly oscillating between steep climbs and steep dives. Can't recommend. ... show more

  • Prefect gift for the young aviation enthusiast
Bought for my 8 year old godson. Flew it right out of the box. Easy to fly.

  • Some things to consider.
This is a nice plane but has a couple of shortcomings. There is no elevator (up and down) control- only right and left however you can try to set the elevator before flight and hope it’s right. It is also extremely light and should not be flown in any wind. Because you have no up and down control, it is very hard to keep the plane close. It should be flown in a park or area with no obstacles. ... show more
