I've taken this tent out for one night so far to the beach. It is easy to set up and take down although I find it very heavy. Guess I will need to get stronger to move it from car to campsite. This is my first tent purchase and Im really excited to camp this year. Now if the rain would just stop. Had to cancel this last weekend's outing because I can't manage a wet tent yet. It would be way to heavy, and Im concerned about mold issues with a canvas tent. I will add more pictures when I get out next. Update: Took this out to the mountains and the desert. Easier set up when you have two people. We had light rain in the mountains and the tent dried well before we broke camp. Didnt need the stakes. In the desert we set this up in high afternoon winds. Stakes worked well and the adjustable tie downs were great. Always stake before inflating. ... show more

We bought this tent to have an extra room for our RV trips. Our guests were delighted, they had a great night of sleep, they were so happy! It is a beautiful tent, very well made. Hopefully it last for a long time

    • The "Tent-Mahal" is next level camping
After my previous tent went into the garbage after it flooded during a very wet camping trip, I decided to invest in something better...way better. I searched around for a while researching and landed on this gem. It's a little pricey but it's built tough. I feel like it could withstand gale-force winds. My wife called it the "bouncy house" and our camping group called it the "Tent-Mahal". It goes up fast with the pump they provide. I tried several of our battery powered pumps but they didn't really fit. It weighs about 95 lbs with just the tent, pump and stakes so have a helper. The rain tarp is very effective and we did not get a drop of water to come through. I bought a 10x13 tarp to go under the tent which really helped with teardown leaving hardly any dirt to clean up on the bottom. Build quality is top notch. The air tubes are very thick and durable. They give you a patch kit just in case. We also purchased 2 of the roll up carpets to put inside the tent. Again, makes clean up at the end so easy. Don't be scared away by the price. It's an investment in your family which will last a long time. On our last camping trip with our church, I think I convinced 3 other dads to make the plunge. ... show more
