This top really looks great on my JKU with a 2.5 AEV lift and 35x12.5 tires. I get a few other Jeeps slowing down to check it out on the highway. Gives it a mini truck look that gets mean glances from Gladiators. First, the instructions are horrible as mentioned by others. I put together the door surrounds twice since they were backwards. The rear tailgate bar holder is very easy to break while putting on. I found not snugging down the side screws holding them together until after snapping on the tub helps. When it rains hard some water gets in down the roll bar in the rear trunk area, but not a bunch. Best to take out the drain plugs in the rear storage compartment before or it will fill up eventually. The rest of the passenger compartment was bone dry during a recent camping trip with an overnight deluge. The best part of this is the flip open top. It is simple to use and allows just enough breeze in on the highway. I'm 6'2" and can still drive with a ball cap. The rear window is a snap to roll down. Naturally this top is a bit louder on the highway while buttoned up than a hard top but not terribly so. It's good and tight (you'll find out installing) so hardly any fluttering on the road. Had it on for about a month now, so I can't speak to the durability yet. The top tonneau does stretch in a bit and you may have to adjust the back straps after a while to keep it tight. Overall, I am very please with the value, plus there was a $200 rebate at the time of purchase which gave me more money for more upgrades. ... show more

Bought this for my wife's 2014 jku, it was a PAIN to install even in the blazing sun and 85 degree weather. Finally got in on and honestly it looked great....then it rained. The "trunk" area got soaked...chalked it up to "maybe I installed something a little off". I adjusted the velcro around the roll bars as tight as I could...then it rained again. Sam thing, this storm came with ALOT of rain so this time we checked the "trunk" area out a little better and found the storage area above the jack storage was FULL OF WATER, THE JACK STORAGE AREA WAS FULL OF WATER ALSO. Everything we had in storage area was ruined, all the tools, rags and cleaning supplies ruined. So if you keep your jeep inside when it rains buy it....if not DO NOT BUY IT!! ... show more

Absolutely love the top, but there are a couple of things that need some improvement. 1) Install manual - not clear and missing some steps that required me to undo quite a bit just to install a component (the tonneau cover aluminum rib to prevent water pooling). Also needs some re-ordering of steps as I had to back out of some already-completed steps just to get enough slack in the top and tonneau to get the back window zipped and connected. Finally, it takes a good 2-3 hours to put together and get installed, so be ready (and have your fingers primed for pain as this thing is TIGHT!). 2) Fit on back edges of door surrounds is great on one side, but won't hold on the other. 3) Some gaps due to #2, and also right above the driver and passenger side windows there is a gap that allows sound, but no rain, to enter. If you want tight, this thing is it. And it looks great and has an awesome design intent. The flip-back sun top is one of the best features, and I'm glad someone finally stepped up to make a full rear-seat windjammer as opposed to those silly halfway-done jobs out there. Also love the side windows on the back windjammer - allows for no blind spots! Got caught in the rain after a concert and there were no leaks. To another reviewer's comments about being drenched - there is a trickle that will drop right as you open the driver or passenger door, but I just let it drop and then hop on in. Overall this thing is outstanding and I'm glad I found it. UPDATE 7/19/18: second install resulted in the tightening webbing on rear corner of top to start to separate. Threading broken, so doesn’t look like this will last much longer. Sad as I love the whole thing! ... show more

This top looks awesome. Fairly easy to install. I live in Az so there was no problem letting the top get warm to stretch. It is a very tight fit. The back window is awesome. The blind spot windows are a game changer. I swapped out my older best top slat top for this one. I couldn’t be happier. There are some gaps By the rear doors that will likely leak some water during storms but I think lined the interior of my Jeep so it’s not a problem for me. If you have carpet or live in a wet climate this may be something to consider. Otherwise the top seems like it is very good quality. Stitching is done very well. Overall, I don’t recommend this top. (I don’t want everyone else to have it) 😜 ... show more

Yes .... I have been looking for a windjammer that wraps the entire back of a JKU and apparently no one wants to make one that is sold separately. I get that door inserts vary from soft top to soft top, but I cant be the only one that wants this look with an easy glide top that fully and easily retracts. Because this was on sale AND had a $200 rebate putting it under $500 I decided to purchase it just for the windjammer and tonneau cover. I cannot review or talk about the top, if it leaks, if its a good material (sorry) i dunno. I can tell you that with some simple modifications I have this windjammer and tonneau working with my best top easy glide top (i have the fast back version). I have been thru multiple rain storms and even snow in the past couple weeks and not a drop has got into any part of the jeep. Even the seatbelts stayed dry. This is a great option if you are like me and want to have the back of your jeep open, but not have to put 2 side windows and a back window on every night to protect from the elements (no garage available). This is easy on/off AND the main back window zips out making it even more convenient. Dear Rampage, want to make some money? Sell this without the top. Include a strap/zipper combo that will allow you to attach this to the rear cross bar and voila ... make some money from people who like their current soft top and just want the ease of taking off one piece to have the rear open. You can send me a royalty of 50% for each one you sell. ... show more
