Good product. Ive bought like 5-6 of these in last 7 yrs but from another company. For 1/2 the price but there always out of stock of course. So I tried this one from Amazon seemed to be the same product and it is I paid more but I’m glad I ordered it-it’s still a great price for a patio blind. It came tonight jan 27,2024 I just put it up in 2 minutes it’s so lightweight and quick to put up. But keep in mind I don’t attach it like you can I just hang mine on 3- long nails that are already on boarder of my wood patio one nail is in middle and 2 on each end and whallah’ you got privacy in 2 seconds lol and of course in day time it blocks about 90% of the uv rays and sunlight. It gives me just enough sunlight to enjoy my patio or garden without the sun beating down on my face. And my new neighbors that I don’t know very well at all put up security cameras that I know capture this side of my house & patio when I go out there and I’m not comfortable with that at all. I mean I’m a mom & grandma I’m old not doing anything wrong but I love my own space and privacy. Everyone deserves and has rights to privacy. So if your debating on this shade I gave you my honest option. They are made of vinyl not bamboo or wood but they still look nice and presentable for company comes and I’m very happy with it.I will order 3 more for the length to cover my whole area soon. ... show more

    • The Best Simple and Inexpensive Solution

We like to sit on our small front porch but for a short time in the evening, the sun can be brutal. We wanted a shade that was just the right size to block a specific area. We didn't need anything big and long. This shade was perfect. So easy to install and we were able to customize the size by using the clips that come with it. It was not doing the best job to block the sun when it was one layer so we doubled it by folding it in half and clipping the bottom to the top. It did the trick perfectly. We didn't need to anchor it and it does move in the wind but it's heavy enough that it doesn't flap. We'll be able to remove it for the winter. Hopefully, it will hold up. It is not rugged but it's in a place where it won't be touched so it should be ok. Very, very happy. I wish we did it sooner! ... show more

The windows in our dining room get direct sun and we wanted something to keep the direct sun out. You can't see through them but that is no big deal for us since the windows overlook our side yard and all you can see is the neighbors fence. With the included hooks the shades would blow off the hooks, so I would use a hook that closes. We are planning on getting another set for this upcoming summer season. ... show more

Bought this to install on our west-facing front porch to block the evening summer sun and heat to make porch-sitting nicer. It was simple to install- measure, cut to fit if it needs it, install screw hooks, hang. We had some strong winds that blew one off and we decided to replace the hook with one that has a little flap to keep it on (don’t know what they’re called…sorry). We love the shade it provides as well as the privacy. Well-made and worth the price. If they tore up, I’s probably buy them again. ... show more

I rarely leave a bad review for a product but this time I just have to say something. We ordered these for our 2nd home, so it was almost a month before we were able to open and install them. (Hence the reason I didn’t just immediately return them). I thought they felt a little cheap, but the price was very reasonable so I figured you get what you pay for. However, they weren’t up a week before they came down, ripping the hook attachment from the middle so that they can’t be put back up. The second set fell down a day later, and although the hook attachment didn’t come out, the actual ceiling hooks bent so straight that the blinds now won’t attach at all. Spend a few dollars extra and get better quality, so that you won’t have to throw them away and order a different set like I now have to do. ... show more
