These shades were super easy to hang and look amazing. The fit was perfect (my window is 40in but I ordered 39”). They block out most light and are completely private. Color was as portrayed in ad. This window treatment is exactly as described. It fit perfectly, took me less than 10 minutes to install by myself, and provided the perfect finishing touch to my son’s room. As others have mentioned, this shade IS NOT full blackout and does allow visibility of detail through it!

I used this shade in my adult son's room (when he comes to visit). I looked at the blind websites, but didn't want to spend hundreds for a room used a few times a year, BUT I wanted it to look nice. This blind is cordless, a rich walnut color, very easy to hang, and although some light comes through, I plan to put a blackout panel attached with velcro when he visits. The blind is beautiful and good quality. However the packaging was awful. The hardware was all free floating in the box (not in any packaging) and there were zero instructions. Without the instructions it was impossible to know if we were missing any of the hardware. We googled for instructions (no luck) so just attempted to install and figure it out as we went. We were able to complete hanging it with the hardware we had. If this is how all of the blinds are packaged, please review that. These are easy to raise and lower to any level. I love the fact that they do not have strings. I did think they would be shiny but they are dry wood. One came with one slat broken off which I have not addressed yet. I will reach out to supplier. My son installed these quickly, inside mount.
