It didn't seem to have a consistent flame. Then the regulator got freezing cold and burst open, dripping liquid propane on the patio. Thankfully I caught it before everything blew up. But, other than the potential for an explosion, seems to be high quality. UPDATE: I got a new regular from the hardware store, de-gassed my tank to lower pressure and everything works wonderfully. Would I recommend this insert? Thank you for asking internet person. I would recommend it. The media could not be loaded. Very good quality and very easy to assemble...i installed this pan on a butchers block countertop i got from Lowe's..i cut out the middle and inserted the pan..i also purchased the glass on Amazon and the fire glass rocks...very good DIY project..and also very good customer service.. ... show more

This is a good deal for the money and works great. Turned all the way up is toasty and warm. Easy to install and it does come with the propane mixing valve.

It is impossible to find clear instructions for installing this fire feature. The instructions and pictures seem to be for a propane fueled item... but I ordered one for a natural gas hook-up. I have searched for better instructions on the internet with zero luck.

Built the fire pit bar from scratch. Wanted something to run down the middle during fall/winter weather for outdoor get togethers. Measurements were exact and fit perfectly. The turnkey on/off insert with key and electric ignitor sets it off.
