Poor quality hammock. Ropes broke within 2 months of use. While we keep our hammock outside, similarly priced products from other brands have lasted a year +, while this one didn’t even last 2 months.

I feel more comfortable and secure in this curved-bar hammock than a hammock w/ straight bars. I can shift positions w/out it feeling easy to flip over. It felt comfy even when shared w/ my partner who is bigger than me and throws the balance off, and I believe the curved bar is to thank for that. The padded, solid-surface hammock is comfortable but I toss a cotton Turkish towel on it to make the surface nicer against my skin. Not reducing rating for minor quibbles because some won't affect everyone (cosmetic damage) or reflect personal preference rather than a flaw, and I like it enough to override a lower rating. Still, worth mentioning in case it matters to others: Online description of materials is for hammock only, doesn't describe rope- it appears to be cotton, which may break down faster from humidity and sunlight than nylon. I plan on bringing it inside every time I'm done using it so hopefully that extends its life. To that end, I would have appreciated some kind of zippered bag; the hammock that originally came w/ the stand has a bag and it makes it so much easier to store. The cosmetic damage- little gouges in the bar from some manufacturing process, and the pillow arrived dirty. I take time to write honest reviews that I would find helpful, whether favorable or not. I will probably use this hammock 1 or 2 times a week during warm season, and store indoors. If it falls apart unreasonably soon, I will update review (I actually do this). ... show more

This hammock is pretty pricey, considering it doesn't have anything to tie or hold it up. That's a bit of a bummer to me because it means that on top of the price of this item, I need to purchase additional items to be able to use it. Now I will say this hammock seems sturdier than others I've purchased. I'm lazy and I leave my hammocks out in the sun. I bring them in during the rainy season but in Northern California that's a very short season so my hammocks are out A LONG TIME in the burning sun. Very few make it past more than a few seasons. This one already feels like the fabric is more outdoor furniture than a hammock, and that seems like it's going to last a lot longer. It seems at least water-resistant. The color is bright. The pillow is puffy and not uncomfortable. The bend in the bow on the ends really does help hold you in the hammock a lot better, and it's big enough for my husband and I to lay on it together in the shade. We love this lovely blue and white comfortable hammock. Blue is our favorite color. We love how lightweight it is and it’s easy to roll up and pack. It feels great to lie down and rest comfortably on this hammock and forget our woes for a while. It’s very soothing and relaxing.

This hammock is a great value for the quality. It is very sturdy, and the curved bars make it easier to get in and out of the hammock. Less risk of spinning out! The colors (blue strip style) are vibrant and rich. The hammock looks great and is very comfortable. The extra wide and long size make it perfect for a nap, too. I don't know if I would put two adults on it, but I've had 3 small children (7,5,3) on it together, and I've been on it with a child. Great choice! ... show more

The LOVSTORAGE Double Hammock is the perfect replacement hammock for my free standing unit. It is well made and very comfortable. The material is thick and padded. I probably won't use it on muggy days, because I don't think it will breathe very well. However, it will get plenty of use on our dry summer days! It was easy to put together and all the parts were in good condition. Two people fit in it easily, even including my 6 foot tall roommate. It's easy to rinse it off with a hose. I like the pillow that comes with it because it can be moved and adjusted wherever you want it. I got the blue striped one and I'm very happy with it. ... show more
