This box made my massive audio 10s sound amazing. I originally had a port sealed jl audio hatchback box. I was very disappointed in the performance of my new subs and amp using the jl box. The minute I put them in this enclosure, I was blown away. Great sound, deep bass (tuned around 32-40hz) and solid construction. The box is more compact than I thought it would be, which is great for my trunk space, the rhino liner exterior wasn't my favorite at first, but it grew on me. Simply put, this is worth every penny and will maximize performance of your woofers so long as the air volume is sufficient! ... show more

I'm a little torn on how I feel about this product. It is super well built and sounds so freaking amazing now!!!!! I have it paired with a set of American Bass XFL 1044's using a P300-1 to break them in. Knocked my rear view mirror off at 1/4 volume just trying to tune it. Sounds like a 2000 watt system now. Amazing super deep low bass with country and rock music. Not into rap or hip hop so not sure what that might sound like but sure it will have to be good;-).... The bad thing is I had to trim the speaker openings because they were only 9 1/4" and the wire connectors on the inside of the box were for maybe 18 - 20 gauge wire and the speakers I had have 8 gauge wire directly to the voice coils. All said and finally done this box freaking bangs like hell. I pull into a gas station or the car wash or Wal-Mart and people come to my 2003 super cab ranger to see the body box with 4 or 6 speakers in it only to find 2 10's. Not bad for $80. These literally can match any interior trunk because the rhino lining makes them very durable as well. Makes them match the trunk interior very well.

After installing subs, I had to pull them so I could fix the vents. The boards were not mounted well, and created a rattle. I did have to router out a bit of material to fit the subs, but that was on me for not verifying the required dimensions.

For a cheap prefabricated box this one sounds pretty good. I really like the small size and still get deep bass! All prefabricated boxes will need to have the opening adjusted, this is not because of the box but because some more powerful subs have bigger baskets
