  • Seems like an amazing quality box.
Product Packaging: Frustration-Free Packaging
I bought this to upgrade my home theater subwoofer setup. I have a complete Pioneer Elite system and wanted to use the best Pioneer has to offer in subwoofers. (I threw a Pioneer PRO 12 in this box and powering it with a Crown XLS 2502 amp) This box worked perfectly for that. I didnt have to make any modifications for the speaker to fit, but I did take some prevention steps and used liquid nail on the inside corners and then added a layer of polyfil. Probably didnt need to, but I want the best I can get for my budget. Overall the box seems like its going to sound amazing, I haven't put it to the "test" yet but I have high hopes. Good quality and great price. ... show more

  • Great sounding 38hz box, thin walls though.
Product Packaging: Frustration-Free Packaging
For a budget box, this thing checks all the boxes that a good one needs. Pros: Looks good Hits hard Decent coating Ported Nice Terminals Solid price point Cons: Noisy port under high pressure Super thin walls Poor quality terminal seals Next box will be a birch sundown (Skar VXF 12D2 w/Bass3k Taramps on Lithium) ... show more

  • Absolutely Phenomenal Enclosure!
Product Packaging: Frustration-Free Packaging
I love this bad boy! It's almost the perfect recommended size for my Fosgate P3D412 (Rockford recommends 1.79, minimal difference). Build quality is exceptional, true ³/⁴" MDF. Port size and tune is perfect. Love the side firing port vs front firing. Hard coating is great. It reminds me of my old ProBox that housed my Kicker Solo X. It's sealed very well, zero air leaks. Not too heavy at all, especially considering it's 3/4. The overall sound, especially paired with the P3 12 is incredible. Grab it, you will love it, guaranteed! ... show more

  • It's good.
Product Packaging: Frustration-Free Packaging
It's a great box, but for my sub I had to remove the bedliner and some material from the inlet so my sub could fit. Inside diameter measured 11.63 inches when I got it. My buddy got the same one and it's diameter measured 11.71 inches. If you don't mind a little DIY to make your sub fit then it's great for the price. ... show more

  • Nice for a prefab and sounds great.
Product Packaging: Frustration-Free Packaging
Great sounding box for 1 12". It has some flex to it but it didn't break. I hit it with liquid nails anyway as a precaution. I have a sub in it that's a clone of a Sundown SA classic ( its an Audio Legion S2512) and it sounds great. Low but still very musical. So much so that I chose to run it in my home theater. ( I have a big home theater, very powerful). it's tuned lower than the specs say, like 34hz if memory serves and not alot of port noise either, that's another reason I used it in my home theater setup. I'd buy it again but I wouldn't put anything too big in it. Sundown sa classic or lower. The Resilient Sounds Onyx 12" in the picture has nothing to do with the review, its just too heavy to move out of the way so deal with it, 😆. I would never use this box for something like that monster. BTW, the liner on this box is TOUGH! It's not junk liner. I was surprised how tough it is. ... show more

  • Awesome Enclosure! Makes my Rockford P3D4 12in sound two!
Product Packaging: Frustration-Free Packaging
OK. So I already own the dual 12in enclosure so I knew the build quality would be great. My concern was the port. Now I already said the build quality is great, as in its solid, sturdy, with that coating acting as a shield from the weather as well (humidity and wet weather I mean) it's a great build. But it isn't exactly ported like a high end enclosure is. It's close, as you see in my photos, they have the port at the end of a long box. And that acts as an enhancer for the bass. Well it's supposed to. Its supposed to be more obstructed along that long box hole before the port. Kinda like a tight maze of wood all down that hole. That makes it almost like the box is sealed because the air has so much to get thru before the opening, and this enhances the bass even more. Don't get me wrong. This box makes my Rockford P3D4 12 SLAMM. But with that port, it doesn't produce the deeper lines of bass. Those low rumbles So as you can see in my photos, I sealed my dual 12 enclosure and it made it sound extremely better and made it be able to produce those really low bass lines. So I am probably going to seal up the port on this box as well. I've always liked sealed enclosures better man. They just sound much better to me. But to each his own man. Regardless, this box is awesome! And I highly recommend it! If you only want one subwoofer in your vehicle, this is the box you want for it. It seriously sounds like I have two subwoofers in my car ... show more

  • The loudest box I have ever heard, bar none.
Product Packaging: Frustration-Free Packaging
Like a few of the other reviewers on here, I have a single 12” Rockford Fosgate Punch P3D4 (dual 4ohm voice coils) wired to 2ohms. I have a Kenwood KAC-9106D bridged to 2 ohms for 1,000 watts RMS, 2,000 watts MAX that pushes it well. I’ve been into car audio for the better part of 25 years and have had about every configuration you can think of, from stock equipment to thousands of watts being fed to 15” and 18” subs which break windshields. I wasn’t expecting the world out of my current little system but want it to be the best it can be. I had my 12” Fosgate in a generic pre-fab ported box that sounded okay, but I figured it wouldn’t hurt to pick up a box that had the precise air volume that my sub called for, (1.79 cf) so I grabbed the Q-Bomb single 12” version 1.8 cf. If you are even thinking about picking up this box and are reading this review looking for advice, BUY THE BOX. This thing is bananas. My bass is twice as loud as my old box and I haven’t touched my amp settings. All I did was change the box. These things are ridiculously sturdy, clean looking and sounding and unequivocally SLAM. Hard. This is easily the best box I’ve ever had. I’d pay twice the price for these results all day long. I’m extremely happy and completely astonished with it. It’s freaking loud, I’m telling you. Especially if you have a Fosgate P3 or anything with the same airspace requirements. Get it. Do it. You’ll LOVE it. ... show more
