When I got back from Italy I started making my own pizza. I use a microwave/convection oven for convenience, but it only goes up to 450. This one goes up to 572. Nice and hot and the pizza cooks in 6 minutes! My big oven is mostly for storing pots and pans, so this tabletop model is the perfect solution. Easy to move around, and the perfect size for a 10” pizza stone. The clunkiness has to do with the fact that the rack is connected to the door/handle, so you have to pull the rack out almost all the way to slide the pizza onto the stone from the side. Would be better if the door/handle flipped down and the rack stayed in the oven so you could slide the pizza in from the front. The other thing is that it indicated it could fit a 12” pizza stone, but it really can’t since the rack slide holders stick just a wee bit too far in. Finally, the temperature dial isn’t very exact, but that doesn’t seem to be a problem. This oven was affordable, so, balancing the few faults against the benefits, it works fine for me. ... show more

This Pizza maker is great. Easy to use, easy clean up. We’ve used it quite a bit. Worked great when my grandkids came over and they loved the pizza. I looked at other ones that were more expensive. I hesitated buying it at first but decided what the heck. I highly recommend it.

I can't say enough good things about this oven. I tried no less than six toaster ovens before landing on this one, all of which produced fumes that made me nauseous. Yes, they had bells and whistles, like air fry and other cooking modes. But I don't want any of that. I just want a metal box that gets hot and heats food safely. If you just need the basics, this is a great oven. It cooks extraordinarily well. I've used this for pizza, chicken nuggets, and reheating food, and it does each better than any other oven I've used. And most importantly, there are no fumes that I can detect. As a bonus, after I scratched the crumb tray with a metal knife (totally my fault), and not seeing a replacement available on Amazon, I sent a message to PYY, who sent me a replacement free of charge. Had it for 24 hours before I couldn't wait any longer to try it. Plusses...inexpensive, fast, light, nice rubbery cord that's long enough, all stainless interior, feet for stability, outside doesnt get crazy hot. Minuses...bulky and takes a lot of room because it bakes 12 inch pizzas, no shutoff timer...its just a rotary chime type, and the only real reason it's a 4 not 5...no indicator light for when it gets to temperature. It would cost about 10 cents to have a heating indicator added to production during manufacture. There is no simple way to tell it is at full preheat at 512F. You can turn it in and guess it's hot in 10 or 15 mins...or feel the analog temperature selector click. It SHOULD BE INCLUDED. We watched a few YouTube videos for pointers before starting. We used King Arthur Pizza flour...Amazon, chopped peppers and onions, Classico pre-made sauce , fresh mozzarella, self shredded romano, and small pieces of uncooked bacon. No spices or extra oil other than the crust edges. We were absolutely BLOWN AWAY. We are pizza snobs and this was the best pizza we ever ate. It would cost $20 to buy at a good takeout. IF you have the space it's idiot proof. I had a pizza stone and used it inside...great idea. Parchment paper when rolling out the risen dough is VERY helpful and doesn't burn on the stone. This is a BIG item and takes space. If you LOVE pizza...you will covet it. Making the dough and rolling out can be replaced by store ready to use...but we didn't. There is no end to the combinations you can make. I told my precocious 8 year old grandson Isaac that we are making pizza the next time he comes for the day. It couldn't be simpler...dont hesitate to buy this if you have the storage space. Really... ... show more

This little oven is great. It makes a really nice pizza, it can bake a small casserole, bake flatbreads, and it can be done outside. I combined it with this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B086X47D2T deck box, and store it outside. The box doubles as a work surface when in use. In the summer months, why add the heat to the house just so that you have to pay for AC to get rid of that heat? This is super-easy, saves money in the long run, and also green. So I ordered this one as it was the close to the one we had before. There was an issue as putting the handle on as it did not contain a washer. The wing nut can catch the loop on the wire rack, it did not look too sturdy. I did put a washer on the nut side to be sure the handle is secure. One glaring thing is the Temperature Gage is not listed as to what temp I can use. I had to guess what 400 was! Otherwise this arrived in good time and order. It did heat quickly and cooked it just fine. I calculated that between 392 and 482 is 90 degrees and each tick should be 22.9 degree. ... show more
