This is performing well so far. I am unable to “attach” the seat elastic straps under the chair, due to the construction of the power recliner. My husband is accustomed to having a fleece tucked in the chair and he likes that for softness. So far he is not complaining about the new cover. My only complaint is that is is not long enough in the raised leg portion of the chair to fully cover. When the chair is reclined, there is almost 12” of uncovered chair, and my husband is frequently bare legged and bare feet. Going on 6 months of daily use! We have two pups who like to lounge on our couch in our RV. Since we are outside a lot in all kinds of weather, dirt & debris, this cover has saved our couch!!! I did buy different inserts to hold the cover in place. It does move when we sit on it a lot and the dogs are jumping and playing on it. It never has come off or caused issues. This cover works great. The elastic strap that goes around the back of the sofa helps to keep to keep it in place. I had an in between size of sofa so I bought the larger size. Styrofoam tubes help to keep the seating part and arm covers in place. I didn't check if it was water proof but it was a wet weekend and the paws were wet and nothing came through the cover. The elastic slides down side back. even when adjusted to sofa length. I purchased some sofa material pins and attached the rear material to elastic and it stays in place on the upper cushions but bottom still doesn’t remain in place.
