I have been looking for a new couch. I have a very comfortable leather couch bought over 10 years ago. I decided to try a couch cover rather than spending $3k on a modular microfiber couch. So far this cover has exceeded my expectations! It is thick, soft and looks great. My first requirement is cat friendly. My cat is not declawed and does like to scratch (very normal for cats) and she is provided alternatives. Anyway, I heard that the velvet microfiber is good for no clawing. I bought the cover in hope of keeping my comfy couch while making it look more updated. So far this is doing the job. She does not scratch, but every night jumps up and sleeps on it. She did not do this on the leather. So far, a win-win. My couch is a 3-seater at about 100" wide. The cover has great elastic and covers the entire couch while hugging the bottom with elastic. I tucked bubble wrap into the cushion and back areas to hold the cover in place and it works. It does not slide on the leather, does not retain cat hair or so far, stains. Rather than spending $3k on a couch with removeable, washable cushions ($400), I can purchase different colored covers and change them, while enjoying my comfy couch at $60 ea. Love it! Let me start with the good. It does it's job in keeping my sofa and loveseat protected from my cats' kneading, spills or food, it's soft, easy to slip on, and I like the color. Now, with that said.... The fit. It sits awkwardly on the arm rests near the back rest of the sofa/loveseat. Idk if that's just how it's meant to look, but it looks like it's offset. I personally don't like how it looks, but I have the armrests covered with blankets anyway, so.. out of sight, out of mind. Whatever extra material was left after slipping it on, I just tucked into the seats and gave it a better, more snug look. Overall, though, I do like this product and it does what it's supposed to. The value is definitely better than what I found at Walmart for something not as aesthetically pleasing. ... show more

I was looking for sofa covers and had tried out a few but was afraid to order any more considering how much sofa covers look like something that is awkwardly covering the sofa with wrinkles and such thin non-protective material. I felt like I'd have better success purchasing fabric and covering the sofa more snugly with something I made. Then I saw this sofa cover. I ordered this for my mom while I was visiting her.
