I just want to start off by saying this looks like a slipcover, so don’t expect to buy this and it doesn’t look like one. However, it is an extremely nice slipcover. Make sure to measure at least twice before purchasing. I did, and it’s really a perfect fit. It was very easy to install it by myself, it took me less than 10 minutes. It is extremely soft and stretchy. So far I’ve only washed the cushion covers one time, but it seems to wash up very nicely and looks even better than when it was new. Great price. Pet friendly (I have a large dog and 3 cats). I really can’t say enough positive things about it. UPDATE I purchased a set of brown covers to make a more uniform living room set since I already had a brown chair. Again, extremely happy with these covers. The more practice you have taking them off and putting them back on, the better they fit and the less they look like a cover. I washed my beige cover many times, and it always came out looking like new. Even when I had stains on it that I thought wouldn’t come out, they did. These covers are so easy to clean (spot clean or machine wash/dry), and they come out looking and feeling brand new. As a pet owner it makes it so easy to clean up hair and dirt. I’m sure parents would love this too, especially since you can just wash cushion covers without having to take apart the entire cover. It’s such an inexpensive way to change the look of your room. Day one, initally install lol I am writing the main part of this on Oct 6th. I intend to update as I use it. - it was challenging to install, but it should be easier next time. it was MUCH easier than pulling off the actual slip cover on the original couch. I did a "fast" cursory job of it and did not make much of an effort to smooth or tuck anything in the photo. I figure that I want it to "wear" well or whats the point. [My couch actually is a slipcover (all the fabric comes off and I can wash it. It looks great after I wash the slip covers, but with two pups and paw prints I needed something easier to deal with besides taking 3 hours to soak and wash and put the original covers back on. Plus the all day affair wore me out!] My initial thoughts and questions: *Does it look like a slip cover and be distracting? No I don't think it will be obvious at all. HINT: anything with texture, diamonds or a pattern will be distorted when stretched or adjusted - it would be like wearing a shirt with the pattern skewed - I made sure to find a cover that would not show where it was stretched or what angle I placed it on the couch. This one WINS. *Will it wash well? *will it hold onto pet hair horribly? I mean it is what it is so thats not my biggest concern. *Is it water /"liquid" resistant? NO not at all, but neither was my couch and its not an issue. I have considered putting pee pads *under* the fabric just in case. (my pups sometimes pee when excited) *Is it slippery or does it tug when I get i and out of the the couch (I lay down). Neither. its perfect. It is a short Velour type of feeling, synthetic so it slips but also has a bit of a hold since it has a tiny bit of pile. Its lovely! much better than I expected. *Is the Back of the cover going to cover the back of the couch. YES it should. That being said - my couch has removable (and squishable) back cushions which may take up a bit more room after being smashed down by the dogs. (my loveseat is in the middle of the room so I will update about the back when I get one for the loveseat). *Is it stretch enough? Yes. I have very high arms and so far this looks and works great and the challenges I thought my couch would present don't seem to affect it. so far so good. *does it stretch too much? No It seems to fit wonderfully - no extra fabric is bunching up. *is the size flexible. YES. My couch back is 84 wide by 24 high. the arms are also 24inches high and front to back its 38" deep. seems to work great. I bought the Large 2 cushion i think - Whichever fit into the measurement parameters for the back width. So far I am LOVING this. and I plan to order another one for my loveseat. PHOTOS: one is the Couch that I put it on, another is the matching loveseat because I forgot to take a before photo. The last is my 2 dogs about 2 min after I finished. Gotta love 'em. **Would have given 5-stars if bottom straps were included on this slipcover (see more below) Due to size constraints in my smallish home, I had to buy a chair-and-a-half to use as my "sofa." It is very square-ish (and certainly not standard dimensions in any way for what would be considered basic for a "chair") which is usually more rounded in overall shape. Also, as the image with the frame dimensions shows - NOTE: I am stretching this Chair Slipcover to it's *maximum* size limits. I was totally aware that this cover is tailored for curved-lined frames. And that there would probably be very little stretch left to tuck and fit, because I'm utilizing the maximum dimensions. I bought this slipcover because I wanted a new fabric color as I've redecorated the living room a bit, and wanted an affordable price, too. Plus with the square-ish shaped frame and it being a chair-and-a half, slipcover options are VERY limited. The outcome ... Well I'm pretty darn happy with the result! The slipcover fits surprising well, even though there are a few puckers on the tops of the arms, towards the back. This is due to the way the seams on the slipcover have been sewn to accommodate the rounded curves of a typical chair. But there is enough stretch remaining to the slipcover (even though I'm stretching it to it's maximum dimensions) that I could just barely tuck in the back side edges of where the back cushion meets the arms to hide the seam area that does not confirm to my square-ish frame. The slipcover barely reaches under the back of the frame, so it is riding up a few inches - another reason securing straps are needed in my case. PROS: ~~Quite surprised at how soft, comfy and nice this fabric is for the price! I LOVE the deep teal color, which is showing blue in attached photos - but there really is a green tint to the color. *Very wrinkled upon receipt due to compact packaging; but after 24 hours of it being on chair the wrinkles really do disappear - as my photos show.) ~~Really stretches - as claimed. ~~Seams appear to be able to handle stretching this cover to it's stated maximum dimensions. ~~Elastic band at bottom of edges of cover do hug, but ... (see CONS). ~~I cannot comment on spot-cleaning or washing results - just rec'd this slipcover a few days ago. But other reviewers say the fabric cleans well, so I'll trust that. CONS: (reason for only 4-stars) **NO BOTTOM STRAPS** to pull all bottom edges tight and secure under the chair frame! This manufacturer includes these straps with all other slipcover sizes and they should have done the same for chair covers. This issue has also been mentioned by many reviewers as being needed, especially if your chair is on the smaller side of the dimensions listed for this cover. You'll have a very puckered looking slipcover if, again, your chair is smaller. This is where the securing straps would, hopefully, allow the slipcover to stay in place and not shift around. Or, as in my case, I need to have those straps to pull and secure all the bottom edges tightly toward each other - side to side and front to back - to allow the bottom edges of the slipcover to stay in position UNDER the edges of my chair's frame.
