I must confess that I was happy with how the backyard became decorated: all with my theme colors and full of life thanks to the different shapes that came in this kit. The paper lanterns where very easy to assemble and they even bring the small base to put some lights on them (which I did) The flower shaped one was a bit less easy to do, but between my brother and friends, we end up setting everthing before our big day. One downside is that the garlands don't come with the yarn or thread to attach them, so you need to get something to put them. ... show more

Let me start by saying the Chinese Lanterns were great. Great color. Easy to put together. I only broke one thingy but that was my fault. Now for the Poms. I was no expecting to have to make the poms. I understand shipping, it makes sense, but still. The media could not be loaded. I decided to use clear fishing line and tacks to hang them from the ceiling. You could go to a Dollar Tree & get the same look/pom poms, but for me it was the convenience of getting the colors I needed & having it delivered right to my door. I’d suggest buying them days before your event, because they do take some time to put together and if you’re unsure how to assemble the lanterns/pom poms, try searching Google - as there are helpful videos online! ... show more

Great decoration set, except the Pom poms. The directions for the poms were confusing (could just be me) and we ended up not using them. Everything else was fantastic, bright and durable. Would purchase a set without the poms.
