Thor product worked right out of the box. I used on a zoeller sump pump which has the float switch stuck on. This was the easier approach rather than removing from pit and replacing switch. Updated two Zoeller sump pumps with these new switches as the old original mechanical switches can get janky, so far they work perfect and easy to install. If you have to remove the switch arm or the switch seal leaks, it is easy to seal the hole with JB Weld as it is not used any longer.
