I'm not sure how effective the retinol, collagen, and Vitamin C in these products will be but the products make my skin feel great! I have been using Argan oil on my legs and arms this winter after a shower or bath as the oil is easy to work into my skin and I'm not left feeling sticky as with so many lotions. I found that the Collagen Lifting Body Oil from Advanced Clinicals works at least as well as my argan oil. The pump dispenser is a huge plus (after a little practice) as it provides a perfect amount of oil per pump. The oil has a very light scent and there is no hint of rancid oil smell. As a chemist, I'm not sure how well the Vitamin C derivative will work (Vitamin C itself is not oil soluble) as the research is undecided at this time. The Retinol Body Lotion is more of a cream. It is very moisturizing and does not leave the face or body sticky at all. It is unscented. Most retinol lotions are much too expensive to use on the body. This lotion has 16 ounces in a handy pump container, making it a very good buy. I'm sure that some facial retinol lotions have higher levels of retinol (requiring more careful use), but I just can't afford that for my body. I know that it will be good for my skin even if it can't bring it back to its youthful state. I will continue using both of these products, as will my husband. ... show more

At the top of the listing, you see fragrance free, I thought it was really fragrance free, so I ordered this set of body lotion + oil. Of the ingredients on the lotion, 5 of them are not rated as good according to EWG with one of them rated at #9 (#10 is the worst) . The lotion went on easily, my hands didn't feel greasy. The lotion is fragrance free. But after checking out the ingredients, I'm not sure if I'll be using this lotion. Now to the body oil... this is not fragrance free. I thought it was, so I pumped out a little and rubbed it all over my hands, the scent was pretty strong to me actually. I went back to the bottle to read the ingredient list, fragrance is right there. Who knows what chemicals they put in there. The body oil ingredient list is listed here, too bad I trusted them and went by what they have at the top of the listing "Fragrance free," and failed to read the ingredient list before I ordered. I couldn't stand the smell, I had to wash it off. But it would not come off. It took a lot of washing to finally get the smell off. This Advanced Clinicals Retinol Body Lotion + Firming Collagen Body Oil 2pc set for only $24.99 (at time of review) is a steal for that price. I would expect to pay that for either one separately. I used the body oil after my shower and it has a light pleasant scent and went on like any light oil but after a few minutes it had completely soaked in leaving my skin feeling soft and moisturized. I then used the lotion on my face and neck. It's a light cream that has no scent that I could detect, and one pump covered my entire face and neck. It disappeared within minutes and 30 minutes later I can't believe how soft the skin on my face feels! To give you an idea, I am a 67 year old woman living in the Midwest with dry winter air and normally after a shower my face feels dry and tight. Not only that, but it never feels soft anymore. I love these two ingredients in my skincare. The lotion is fragrance free, but the oil has a very light and subtle vanilla scent. The formula of both are non irritating, and provide instant softness. Of course you’ll need to use for a few weeks to see a significant difference

This set of retinol lotion and firming body oil is totally awesome! I take my time massaging it in, which I completely recommend to enhance absorption and increase circulation. Leaves my skin feeling moisturized and revitalized. Non irritating. I love it ❤️
