Sometimes I need a second application on my legs but I’m older and have dryer skin. I like that it’s not thick and the scent is not overbearing. The pump releases a good amount of lotion. I like the shape of the bottle to reduce the amount of shake-out when the lotion is low. I read many comments about people loving the scent of the yellow. I bought both yellow and blue. I prefer the floral scent of the blue. This lotion is expensive but I will order again when needed and plan to try other scents. ... show more

This lotion smells sweet and fruity fresh. I have purchased some of Hempz other fruity lotions from their website, but the fragrance was too strong. This pineapple melon kind is good. They also sell a sweet pineapple melon body spray at some beauty stores that is really light and goes well with the lotion. It absorbs well and is not greasy. ... show more

    • Great for smell, not for moisturizing
The smell of this lotion is absolutely fantastic, but I was honestly disappointed with how ineffective it is for me at moisturizing - and I don't have any problems with dry skin. I agree with the other reviews that say it isn't greasy, which is good, but I have other non-greasy lotions that moisturize much better. I keep the bottle at my office instead of in my bathroom because it would never work for me as a body lotion, only a "I want to smell good" lotion. It definitely doesn't work for me for dryness after washing my hands, if I use it I have to double up with another lotion. I've only used 2 Hempz lotions (this one and the blue one that I think is the Triple Moisturizer) and I found the blue one to be MUCH more effective but I didn't love the smell nearly as much. In a nutshell, I would recommend this lotion if you want something that smells amazing. I will buy more when it runs out simply because of the smell. However if you need something for dry skin, it may not work for you. ... show more
