The toaster either burns the toast or it doesn't toast enough. I have tried various settings. It also tends to toast each side of the bread differently. I'm going to send this one back & get a Black & Decker.

I was looking for a long/skinny toaster to accommodate my kitchen counter setup. This one fits perfectly, and best of all it looks sleek and not bulky. I have not had any issues with the temperature settings and I love that I can finally toast longer slices of bread that didn't fit in my old toaster! Just to note, the exterior does get quite hot so be careful touching it when removing your toast! (this has not been a major inconvenience though) ... show more

It's a perfectly fine toaster, nothing fancy. It does seem like it takes a long time to toast and I'm still struggling to figure out exactly what to set on the knob for how toasted I want things, but I haven't really had any issues with it burning. I needed a very specific layout for my toaster because of where it is on my counter (4 slices, but long - not wide - with the controls on the front or the right side of the toaster), this is definitely the cutest one I could find that fit that description and wasn't ridiculously expensive. It did have a weird smell for the first couple uses (almost like burning plastic?), bit that stopped happening quickly. ... show more

This is a great toaster. You can toast 2 large sourdough bakery slices that normally won’t fit in a regular toaster without cutting in half. You can cook 4 regular slices at once and we found that a setting of 2 1/2 on the dial is the perfect darkness for us. We got the white toaster to match our other appliances. The product is nice looking with the bronze accents, and it fit well into my kitchen, but I had a few issues. First- the slider piece that the bread sits on it he toaster is too narrow and bread falls down in most of the time. Thinner breads, bagel thins etc- are a headache. Secondly, this toaster only lasted 6 months- the middle element stopped working. For a toaster that’s used once a week, it has zero longevity. I would not buy this again ... show more
