  • Works well
Size: pipe size 1/2"+ 15" length+Digital Color: Pump
Easy to install. No leaks like previous reviews said if you know how to use the rubber washers. No Teflon tape/pipe dope needed. Directions suck, but pretty easy to figure out. Can't seem to see anyway to change temp to Fahrenheit though. Timer function is very convenient. Others said cold came out hot too.......well that's how these things work, even the ones with the pump at the WH. It pushes water from the hot into the cold until a certain temp. When the temp drops by 5deg, it pushes the warm water into the cold line. It keeps doing this everytime the temp drop below the threshold to turn pump on. So....the cold line is going to have warm(not hot) almost indefinitely. If you want cold, then you gotta wait about the same time you used to wait for hot water.....But how often do you want cold water, right? So this thing is still awesome and allows us to have instant hot all the time. 5 stars ... show more

  • Prozrted please fix this ! They did
Update: Next AM. They said pull power plug 1minute, replug and immediately push remote any button. Working fine now. Original :Lots of confusion about this product. First, I found Prozrted customer service who list a contact email on website and in instructions to be very good, In general they answer overnight and provide pictures as well as written advice. In relation to plumbers thinking it was oddball fittings etc – get a new plumber. I measured 14 turns per inch (TPI) for the half inch “NPT”. The top of each turn was properly flat, and the angle was correct. In other words it was true USA national pipe thread (NPT). It just was not NPT – national pipe TAPER which is what all my plumbing friends tell me NPT really refers to – a tapered fitting that seals by forcing taper into corresponding fitting. Prozrted fittings all seal by pressing on a resilient washer All fittings were in old fashioned terms “iron pipe” or straight non tapered . This is all made confusing by the fact that plumbers, tradesmen etc. also use the NPT term to mean; “ not funny metric, DIN, or BSP” threading. Most all plumbing I have seen from Asian sources is BSP or British standard which does not play well with USA standards. The use of the term NPT can result in going to store, requesting NPT and getting just that – a tapered as opposed to parallel thread which will not seat properly with parallel (straight). If your not confused now just google it. Anyway the fittings are fine and conform to US standards. These are the same you will see on your sink or toilet. Instructions are clear except for a few points. Orientation can be outlets right and left ( horizontal) or up and down(vertical). I saw some poor guy purchased new hoses so that “ shaft would be horizontal”. If you mount it with the clip either vertical or horizontal the shaft is horizontal. Only if the mode button is facing toward the sky instead of your navel will shaft be vertical. The seller has pictures showing all three positions with up/ down, right /left marked correct and back of unit flat on ground “ incorrect”. So, installation: piece of cake NOT. Big problem is to align your hoses with fittings on pump you may want right/left as opposed to up / down which is fine, except mounting clip only works for up / down. You can shove unit in sideways and get right /left but it is not secure. Next problem is clip to case mount which is held by two tiny screws into just plastic, no metal backing plate and insufficient support for 3lb motor that might run many hours. I put two squares of genuine 3M outdoor double sided tape under the clip to the motor to extend the surface area supported. My big problem had nothing to do with prozrted. The connectors (hoses) were just too short. 15 inches does not allow much wiggle room under my sink. You might want to start with 24 or 30 inch. Another problem is teflon tape, it is hard to wrap under the sink especially on 3/8 fittings. Actually not needed, these fittings seal by compressing a washer. The Teflon reduces friction and with true NPT threading helps with sealing but is not required here. Yet, everyone uses it. I just smear on a bit of rectorseal or gasoila and avoid the small flecks of teflon that break loose in many situations. Overall, a good product that only needs a rethink on mounting technique. If it only worked. So, the install: prepped everything, dry fit lines, positioned pump, fabricated mounting plate as back wall of vanity was masonite positioned ¾ inch in front of drywall. Removed old faucet as I needed longer braided hose and could not reach from underneath. Reinstalled faucet, took off door of vanity as I was too contorted in tiny space and my back was humped up 6 inches from floor. Replaced both old valves. Installed GFCI. Took tylenol and slept. Next day headed out for proper length hose. Came back, took more tylenol, went back under cabinet. Pump hookup itself really only took a few minutes ( although you will note this was day 2). Checked that valves were both open, H2O came out of spigot, no leaks were present. Plugged in cord to pump and power supply to GFCI. Cycled GFCI. Noted pump was showing blinking white light. No noise, no flow no effect touching mode “button” which appears to be touch control. Just blinking ×@#$+ white light. No help in Q&A. No help in manual. So now you know why this review is so long. I am sitting here waiting for response from the help team. THE SAGA CONTINUES: So, Prozrted fixed the no run situation right away and things were great. Put the remote on wall outside bed/bath hallway. Many guests and showers in July 2 months after install, worked perfectly. Mid August - just stopped working. No noise no notice just stopped. Blinking white again. No response to remote re-synch but noticed an every few cycles red blink. Sent video, next day support folks said " dead, sending new one under warranty". Got email from Amazon that it would arrive in 2 days. So again, customer support 5 stars. Now we all get to wait and see " mean time between failure" figure. Hopefully it will be years. ... show more

  • Great new option for hot water recirculation
I installed this three days ago, and while normally I'd wait a few months to make a full evaluation, I wanted to put a review up for people to read who may be seeing the product and not sure if they should get it--like I was. Get it. I'd been considering different options I have for getting hot water to my bathroom sink across the house. I was considering different water recirculation systems, including the Laing and Watt's pumps. The Laing is ridiculous expensive ($300-400) and the Watt's system require two different installation points that were problematic on my Hybrid water heater that has horizontal input/output nipples. So I saw this. Weird brand name, poor English, and half the price of the other options. All the hallmarks of Chinese junk, right? Yeah, that's what I thought, but with the Prime guarantee and free returns, I figured why not try it. It arrived in two days, and I immediately went to install. Out of the box, the product quality was good. It's got a plastic shell that can't be removed, so I don't know what it looks like inside, but it's solid feeling and heavy. The components and fittings that come with it are the same quality as anything at HD, and it comes with everything you need to make the install. Took me about 45 minutes to install because of the tricky positioning under my sink and awkward angles--no fault of the product. Got it set up and plugged in and it immediately kicked in. The pump cycle ran for about 30 seconds and shut off. I ran the hot water and voila, instant warmth. It worked. No leaks, no explosions, etc. etc. Pump runs very quiet and for only a short time. You'll never notice it. Here's some things to consider: -Instructions are not great, but if you're a handy person and have installed plumbing supply lines, you can do this. -Everything you need is included. Use the stainless 3/8" to 1/2" reducers to connect your existing supply lines to the copper tees. (No need to disconnect your supply lines from faucet.) -To change through the modes, press and HOLD your finger on the button until it changes color. -Like all non-loop systems, this uses the cold water line to return water to the hot water heater. That will make your cold water warm. If that's an issue for you, you're out of luck. -If the pump cycle hasn't run for a while, water will be lukewarm for a moment, but that's still much better than freezing cold. -No idea yet on the impact to my electricity bill. I do notice the water heater running more frequently, but I don't think it's going to have much impact, and the savings on water bill should make up for it. I will update this in a few months to evaluate the efficacy of the different modes and impact on my electricity and water bills, but I would recommend this product to anyone just based on initial performance. ... show more

  • Easier than I thought and good quality!
The product was heavy quality and easy to install (45 minutes) and no leaks. For those of you that complain of leaks, I cannot understand that at all unless if you didn't follow directions! Seriously before making a bad review about leaks, try to see what's wrong first. All the necessary parts were included. I will say if you think you need a 12"hose bump it up to the next length, which will give you more room to work with. I was hoping for a little quieter motor but it is what it is. During normal hours you don't notice the sound. At night you can hear it run. I put a smart switch on it so that it doesn't run after bedtime. I would definitely recommend!! Addendum almost forgot to mention that this unit only requires you to install at one location and it's not necessary to drain down your water heater which was important to me. You only need to turn the valves off under the sink that you choose to install it at! ... show more
