I installed this unit today. The unit appeared very good and installed easily apart from the fact that access to my batteries and the installation site in my boat is limited. The unit provides the ability to select the type of batteries used.. i.e. Flooded cell, AGM and Gel. The default is flooded ce
ll. My batteries are AGM and I had a hard time selecting that type. The selection can only be made when the Mode Light is pulsating blue. In my case the pulse lasted only about one second which is insufficient since during that time one has to hold the selection button 2 seconds and then cycle through the different types. Then hold the button another 2 seconds. My batteries in fairly good shape and it didn't take long for the unit to do its preliminary checks, thus the blue light became steady fast. I assume that this procedure will be requited each time the unit is plugged in. I will call the manufacturer after the holidays to get an explanation.

Pro Mariner is hanging in there and doing it’s job

I have had a Pro Mariner that I took of my boat and up graded to a newer unit. I find this unit does a complete charge on my batteries. Looking forward to long time together

Great product bad shipping

I want to start by saying this is a great product but the shipping was pretty bad 2 day shipping turned to 5 day shipping , nickel holding up a dollar . Probably should have just ordered it from Bass Pro and got there 2 day shipping would have been fishing already.

I bought this model for my two trolling motor batteries as it will charge each battery at 10 amps. If one battery has more of a charge, then the extra amps will be supplied to the battery with the lower charge.

I try 4 different manufacture none worked even the 250 dollar one did not work . you simple make the best charger out their it actually does the job of charge battery . other put out 1/2 volt more than battery voltage of 12 .5 . this simple will not change a battery .

I purchased this unit to charge a bank of 12 volt batteries set up for 24 volts because it has dual charging cables. Worked perfectly!
