The old one was showing a red light for the battery (new) and I replaced the inline fuse as well as re-crimped new connections and switched batter 1 and 2. Still showed red light. Purchased this one, hooked it up and all GREEN! Was very happy. Also like that this unit has a lot of information... % of battery charge cycle, system check, and type of battery indicator. Got this in September 2022 installed in November 2022 in the summer time 2023 it was ok but never seen the green lights go passed two had to close my boat up early for i had two get surgery on my shoulder and then i blowed two disk in my Neck so when i opened my boat up first part of April the batteries where died i tried everything even Purchaseed a charger charged the battiers and every every thing showed put when i hooked it backup it showed three green bars still can't see all of the the second charger hooked the other one i purchased it all green lights where on all. i tried to get help could get it so stay away from ProMariner 44021 ProSport HD Waterproof Marine Battery Charger, 20 Amp, 3 Bank Brand: ProMariner 4.6 4.6 got it in September 2022 installed in November 2022 had to have surgery on my Shoulder and two plates in my neck so when i opened the boat in june 10th 2024 the batteries where died i have a small charger to charged the two batteries to a full charger hooked the charger back up and its only showing three bars and still will not start so ... show more
