Absolutely love how they look (there’s an awesome glow on the water) and between being seen(and safe) and the easy install they’ve been the BEST nav lights for an inflatable dinghy I’ve had yet! - I used a dc style connector for the ends (the kind that is used for regular led light strips) which feeds perfectly into my dry box with my power supply! - Incredibly easy to install on the dinghy with the adhesive, it’s just much better than trying to find a way to use a clamp on an inflatable (don’t ask how I know LOL!) and the they have held up really well! - If you have an inflatable, or any other boat, these are these best! 11/10 would get them again! ... show more

Order arrived promptly and installation requires DIY. Decided to cut into my boat's rub rail, drill a small wiring hole through the fiberglass, fused to a my boat's NAV LIGHT switch at the helm, and sealed in place with windshield approved silicon. VERY BRIGHT and I love 'em! They DO NOT interfere with night visability from the boat's helm and only create a slight halo effect on the water at night and/or low light conditions. This item DOES NOT comply with USCG standards as others have indicated; however, using these in conjunction with USCG approved nav lights ensures that one's vessel WILL BE SEEN by others during low light conditions. On several occasions, I have momentarily placed my hand over the boat's bow to ensure and to verify these lights actually were working since they can not be seen from the boat's helm. (I have a 21 foot Triton bass boat) EXTREMELY pleased with this purchase and the operational benefits gained by the use of this product! (FIVE BRIGHT STARS!!) ... show more
