  • 3-month Review | Must Have for Home and Office Use
Style: 50 lb. Select-a-Weight Dumbbell Pair
I love this DB set and highly recommend this set. Summary: - Great design - Clip for changing weight works perfectly (fast, easy to use) - Not sure I would recommend dropping from bench or for push ups - My secondary set, in home office, used for quick sets throughout workday (great excuse to get up from computer) Full Review: I had been shopping for adjustable DBs for a while but hadn't committed to any because of their bulky designs. A couple of years ago, I finally found some that you could adjust by rotating the handle but there were so many bad reviews that I held off a little longer. Glad I did! The sliding bolt on these is a perfect solution. Fast and easy to adjust the weights. I read the reviews stating that plates slide off and was scared of purchasing. I'm glad that I did finally end up getting them. In the 3 months that I've had these, I've done curls, overhead tri extensions, shoulder presses, standing rows, DB squats and haven't had any issues whatsoever. It is important to note that these are a secondary set for me and I keep them in my home office. I don't do bench exercises with them (ie: press or flies), nor do I press or roll them on the ground (ie: DB pushup into single arm row). I have a hex DB set and rack for all of that in the garage. I mainly use these for a quick set of full body exercises a few times throughout the day. It's a good excuse to get up and away from the computer. I'll do a few push ups, DB rows, a few crunches, then stand up for shoulder press, curls, and overhead tri extensions. Then I'll max them to 50 and hold for grip/forearm burn. Sit back down and do a couple of hours of work before repeating that circuit. I usually get in 3 to 5 of these sets by the end of day. Makes it a lot easier, having these behind me. No more need to go to garage (over 105f in there), and have to switch out the dumbbells, etc. So much easier to spin chair around, get up, do set. Drop DBs into holder, quickly switch weights, pick up, do reps, and so on until set/circuit is complete. Don't slam them, don't drag them on floor/mat/carpeting, treat them as if you were using them on a second floor apartment and don't want to make noise for tenant below, and these should last you a lifetime. ... show more

  • Really good product. Would buy again
Style: 50 lb. Select-a-Weight Dumbbell Pair
The packaging sucks, it arrived open. But the weights are easy and fun to use if you have a couple things in mind. They are for home use, don’t throw them and the 15/25/35/45 intervals get unbalanced. And don’t mess with the lever for change weights

  • Fantastic Adjustable Dumbbells
Style: 50 lb. Select-a-Weight Dumbbell Pair
I really like these. I’ve had them for several months now, and couldn’t be more pleased. They adjust very quickly, easily and securely. The dumbbells end at the last plate attached, so there’s odd stick out. The dumbbells slip back into the rack and the remaining plates with ease. So no problem setting them in. Because the plates are plastic coated (or perhaps plastic bodied), and interlock, they stay stable and quiet. No rattling, no looseness. ... show more

  • 2 weeks of daily use and no complaints 😁
Style: 50 lb. Select-a-Weight Dumbbell Pair
This is a great dumbbell set. Very easy to switch weights, weights are secure on the handle and priced well. So far after 2 weeks of use, I’m anticipating using these weights for years. BTW I’m used to using static dumbbells that do not adjust. If I had the space I’d buy those, for right now these are working great! ... show more

  • These are great
Style: 50 lb. Select-a-Weight Dumbbell Pair
My husband and I are active, but not super into weight lifting. We wanted a compact weight set to get ourselves started. These are sturdy, easy to use/adjust, and we’re both super happy with them.

  • Great equipment at a great price!
Style: 50 lb. Select-a-Weight Dumbbell Pair
I’ve been using these weights for about two months now, and at this price you can’t beat them! It’s fairly easy to select the weight you want (the slide gets mildly stuck every once in awhile), and they feel sturdy. Every once in awhile they get a little misaligned as I’m putting them back in the tray to select a different weight and I have to fiddle with them a little (each plate has interlocking grooves so that they slide together with the ones on either side), but for the most part adjustments are easy. You’re supposed to adjust them evenly on each end so that the weight goes up in 10 lb. increments, but for exercises where balancing the weight isn’t an issue (hammer curls or goblet squats, for instance) you can just add weight to one side for a 5 lb. change. They also sit comfortably in my hands. Considering how much cheaper they were than similar products, I’m super happy with them! ... show more

  • Good but not great set of weights.
Style: 50 lb. Select-a-Weight Dumbbell Pair
Easy to use, solid and sturdy pair of adjustable weights so far. Two complaints. One, the base that holds each set is pretty light and flimsy. Often with the weight set for the full 50 lbs, the base gets stuck on the weight as you lift, which is annoying. Two, the base tends to slide on the floor because it has no mass and interferes in replacing the weight on the base doing so. As for working out, the weights are balanced and sturdy. I don't regret buying them, but there are drawbacks. ... show more

  • Great buy for the money
Style: 50 lb. Select-a-Weight Dumbbell Pair
As long as you put them in the holder correctly they work great. Sometimes if there off a little bit it doesn’t work as well. Overall great product.
