I am baffled this only has 61% 5 star reviews. This is the 4th dog clipper I have tried on Amazon. I had an expensive Wahl clipper but don't like the lithium battery aa they're a fire hazard. The other clippers I bought to replace it had issues. One showed it had a cord on the main photo but it was cordless with a lithium battery. The other two were so cheap, they wouldn't even go thru my dogs hair. She is a cockapoo and has more cocker hair that's super thick and can easily get matted. I was so frustrated I could not find a new clipper UNTIL I got this one. It goes thru her hair like butter, no hesitation at all. It works better than my old $250 Wahl too. It is super light weight, quiet and I thought the cord would bug me but it doesn't at all. It comes with an extra long cord and the perfect guards to get 4 levels clipped. I could not be happier, They also sent an extra cutting blade in case I ever need it. The price is amazing and it has a coupon for money off right now. I HIGHLY recommend it and give it 10 stars!!!! These clippers for pets work very well, much better than any others I have purchased. They are not very loud, and sharp. I have a long haired dachshund with very woolly, fuzzy hair that is hard to trim and he is susceptible to the heat . They are not heavy and comfortable to hold and use. My only issue is the on switch is right where you hold them and its very easy to accidentally shut them off while using, but that was a minor inconvenience compared to the happiness that I actually found an affordable clipper that really works. My boy had a very thick and curly winter coat previously purchased clippers could not even begin to trim. Ordered these and was very happily surprised. They work extremely well and made quick work of a full-body haircut. It is lightweight, easy to operate, and the cord is a good length. As an owner and groomer of 8 doodles.. These are absolutely amazing. They literally cut through as smooth as butter! I didn't use a guard because I like them short for the summer but, even when I tried one, it was smooth cutting as well and did not get caught up in their fur.
