I am on a community well water system with approximately 150 other residents. Installer, plumber says it is quality components. I have had two other softners and this is the largest and produces the largest quantity of soft water between regeneration. The water is softer than the other 2. I did have whole house filters that seems to allow a lot of calcium, iron and chlorine to get through. I have not tested the water yet because the plumber said I needed to give it a month or two to allow the new system to dissolve some of the scale that had collected in the pipes over the last 30 years. The TDS of the water from my faucets are about the same as before around 1060, however the TDS of my reverse osmosis system dropped from 26 to 22 with the same filters. My water from my faucets no longer leaves white residue in my sinks and on the fixtures. There is no longer the strong smell of chlorine. My layman opinion is, that this is a quality system that has greatly improved my water quality. ... show more

    • Poor Customer Service and Product Support
Ordered this product for our home well. Setup and installation was straightforward. The iron/sulfur filter came programmed incorrectly. This unit has been installed for about 8 months. I've contacted customer service for multiple issues. They only way to contact them is through a webpage form. The worst part is they changed their filter sizes from industry standard 20" to a proprietary 19.5". However, if you are like me and your pre-filter needs to be replaced more frequently than 6 months, you will still have to purchase the full set of $150 filters. Also, if Pro Aqua goes out of business, due to terrible customer service and poor products, you will have to reinvest in a new filter housing. ... show more

Easy to install. The best part was the customer service. I emailed with a question and had a response in under 5 minutes. Once I got the water turned on there was a broken connection on the filter unit. I contacted them again in 10 minutes I had a new filter bracket on the way. It took a couple days to get but there was no hassle in getting it. The system works great at filtering and softening the water. ... show more

This system is a great purchase only issue I had was delivery they laid tanks down and messed up median in tanks. Also one scream cover had a broken part so falls off. Other than that it’s amazing. My water is amazing!

This water softener is excellent, functioning as expected and was simple to install. I encountered issues with the valve on the water filter unit and contacted customer service via email. Bought this in January and have had several problems the smell of the water being the worst. The system does not take the smell away and I have been working with then since shortly after my install to remedy the problem. Every time we speak the want me to do this or that with no good outcome. Now they tell me the head on the tank is defective and it is not covered by the warranty saying the system is not under cover ( it is ). They say as a good faith gesture they will sell me a replacement head for $239. This problem has been going on almost since brand new. This is not right. One excuse after another. Salt Tank missing and no resolution. Paid over $1600 and waited two weeks for it to arrive and still can't install it. Not Happy!! ** UPDATE Finally got all the parts. Water is soft but this system absolutely DOES NOT remove sulfur smell from the water. Don't waste your money.
