This is a very nice platform and headboard. The color is light grey or silver. It seems stable although the slats in the base are thin. My only complaint is how difficult it was to assemble. The instructions are vague and leave out critical details. I had one leg that was not properly drilled which required a $15 trip to the hardware store and some serious muscle to fix it. Overall I do recommend this bed. Its a great value for the money. However, be prepared for a challenging project to assemble it. I have not slept on it yet so we’ll see how that goes. ... show more

We bought two twin beds. The first box we opened didn't have any directions so we watched the video many times. It took us a bit to figure out which screws went where since the packages were labeled incorrectly. We opened the second box which had directions. Why did one box have directions and the other didn't? The only reason I didn't return both beds is because it would have been too much trouble to repack everything and take them to a store. ... show more

All the pieces arrived; the holes and screw spots all lined up properly; the padding and material are nice; it’s stapled at the attachment points, instead of fabric nails or tacks, but it’s not obvious or shoddy.
