I added a 30$ set of LEDs to mine. I don't know why people compare this to a kids bed, I got the king, and I love it. It is definitely different. I wanted something low enough so my two small children could climb up, this frame fit the bill and I'm a sucker for LED's. It's INCREDIBLY low to the ground, so keep that in mind, and it's very unique and requires a particular aesthetic already in place to really appreciate it. Easy enough to assemble, instructions are really thoughtfully written. I recommend a cordless drill, just because there are LOTS of screws lol. Once assembled it is very sturdy, with no hard edges to stub toes and hit shins on. I give it 5 stars, but 3 on value for money. It's expensive. Definitely a YOLO buy at this price tag. But, I am pleased. I'll update if it doesn't hold up well to adult activities. UPDATE: How do I put this so it gets past the censors... So the pleather will need a barrier between it and gloss paint. Repeated, oscillating motions make the bed squeak against the wall. The direction of said motion does not matter, we tried up, down, left, right, with a friend, alone, any continued motion in any direction will make it produce a REALLY obnoxious squeak against gloss painted walls. Minor nuisance, still a great bed. I used a bit of the fuzzy part of Velcro, and stuck it to the part that was making contact. No more wierd squeak, no matter how vigorous the motion! Ordered this due to size and wanting a decent headboard and mostly to match the aesthetic in my room. Assembly was simple but in 3 months of having it a single wooden slat snapped. I've had the frame for a year now and it was the only one to break so I'm assuming it was just the one slat that was faulty. One major issue I do have is now, is low it is to the ground. In the photos it seems a little higher off the ground but in reality it is quite low which makes it a hassle to get out of bed sometimes. ... show more

Firstly, my bed was delivered before the actual time I asked for and the delivery person just left it sitting in front of my door while I was still at work. Thank God my Brother lives right next door and saw it sitting there because anyone could have easily come and taken it. Secondly the assembly of this bed was not at all easy in fact it took me many hours to put it together by myself. After completing the project I was very Happy with the sturdiness of the bed and Love how low it sits unfortunately when I plugged the light in to see how it looked I noticed that it was cracked. As much money as I payed for the bed and as much time I put into assemble it I was Extremely disappointed to find a Crack in the headboard light which I have posted. I would Greatly appreciate some kind of reparations. I don't want to send the entire bed back after the amount of time it took to assemble but maybe a partial monetary refund or something for this head board only seems fair. ... show more

First a defective product was sent by the seller, without doing quality check. The bolt and the holes were misaligned, which compromised the structural integrity of the bed. There were missing parts as shown in the pictures, where I bought additional parts. It took lot of time to assemble it. When requested to return the item to seller because of the defects found during assembly, the seller only offered a very small sum as partial refund. The seller should do a thorough quality check before shipping the product in the first place. If you end up getting a defective product and end up finding defects when assembling it like it happened with me, the seller will offer you only a small sum for keeping its defective product and won’t offer to disassemble and pick up the product from your place. It was a horrible experience with this seller. Because this product was not sold by Amazon, therefore disassembly and pick up was not offered by Amazon. Beware of buying the product from this seller ! ... show more

This bed frame is not exactly what I expected when I ordered it. Number 1 thing I will tell you is to measure your mattress to make sure it will fit. I have a queen-size mattress from a name-brand manufacturer and it would not fit inside of the bed frame. Once I got this frame put together, the mattress was almost two inches too big to fit inside the frame. I ended up ordering a smaller cheap mattress and put this into the guest bedroom. I received this product in two different shipments which came on two different days, this was a chief complaint when I read the other reviews but it was not a big deal for me. Once I had everything delivered, I built the bed. I had zero issues with the build, the instructions were more than clear enough for someone without any skills to be able to build this bed and all of the hardware was available. The build was straightforward forward and there were not any missing pieces. There were a couple of bolts that the leather wrapping was covering the port, so I had to cut off the excess to get the bolt to thread in properly but this in my opinion is normal for cheaper furniture. Installing the lights in the headboard was easy but I am not a fan of the remote wire not having a dedicated port so you can turn the bed on and off. I ended up taping the wire to the top side of the headboard using electrical tape. The quality of this bedframe is ok, I would not buy this product again unless it was for a smaller child. After only a couple of uses by some of my guests, I have had to add a couple of cross braces to the frame to make it more sturdy as well as re-torquing the bolts back down. If you are wanting this frame as an adult to add a more modern touch to your room, I do not think this will hold up to the use and abuse of nightly use. This bed frame is great for a guestroom that is only used a few times a year. ... show more
