The cross rails plus slats make this bed super sturdy. The head board is adjustable up or down, which is really nice so there is not a lot of leg vs bed area. The directions were a little unclear which caused me to have to unscrew/screw back. So took a little longer. But all in all 5 stars for this frame. It's nice. We love it! It's in a guest bedroom so probably won't get a lot of use, but it looks great and the extra storage is a big advantage. Took us about 2.5 hours to put together, parts were well labeled and assembly was easy. Sturdy and solid. Perfect for our needs!

The only downside to this bed is that it took awhile to put together which is always a little frustrating. That being said, I'm very happy the the sturdiness and quality of this bedframe. The drawers are really handy and large and can store a fair amount of items. I should add that we have this on vinyl flooring with no rug underneath which makes the drawers very easy to open and close. I don't foresee a problem when we add a rug but I think on carpet or a very shaggy rug the drawers might not be as easy to manage. I highly recommend this item. ... show more
