The product is as described and is very functional. Gauge of the metal is good for the price. East assembly with clear instructions. Used it the night it arrived and it functions well. There was one part that had two missing nuts that were suppose to be attached. It slightly impaired the shelf that goes around the pit but didn’t affect the grill. I emailed customer service max they shipped a replacement immediately. Extremely impressed with their followup emails regarding the defective part. Very easy to put together. We were done in 20 minutes. It's not as heavy duty as we thought it would be, but works fine. My husband attached brackets (not included) to make a rotisserie. Our only real complaint is you can't put the lid on unless you take out the racks. It would be nice if there was a cut out. ... show more

I was in the markets for a new fire pit for my back deck and fell in love with this one because of the American flag Stars and Stripes carved in to the metal. They really stand out once the sun goes down and the fire is bright. It took me about 30 mins to assemble it by myself. The instructions were simple.
