  • Scooter is great—Pride the company not so much.
Just like my title says this is a great scooter batter life is excellent. Don’t think you get the under seat storage pictured in the manual. I contacted Pride about it and the answer was sorry but if you didn’t get you didn’t get it. I should really send it back and leave the shipping bill for them but I really need the scooter. I bought the extended warranty even though 200 dollars. I recommend getting the warranty since I doubt Pride will give any support. ... show more

  • The best scooter for mix of putting in car AND for going off road too - plus weight capacity
We've had this now since spring, when it first launched, the Revo 2.0. It has been very well revised since the original version came out. I bought it so my wife could get from the car, down into the park, to get sun, without having to traverse the rough terrain. With a bad knee and bad back, the uneven ground we take for granted was simply too much for her. This solved that problem without any issues at all. It comes apart and can put in the back of the 2018 RAV4. As long as someone is physically able to take apart and re-assemble, it isn't bad at all. The heaviest piece is only like 40lbs or something. VERY IMPORTANT: When you try to get dimensions, you'll hear people recite the total length, but that is WITH the rear motor being connected. That part comes off and leaves you with a manageable width. I was trying to get this info from everyone, and everyone was wrong. Once that motor (with rear wheels) gets taken apart, it fits with room to spare. If it had not come apart, I'd be struggling to lift is, but more importantly it would never fit in the back of the car. Each day, I disassemble the scooter (it sits in the back cargo area of car, and layout the pieces behind the car, then re-assemble it so wife can drive it. Before we leave, I'll disassemble the scooter to put in the back of the car, but end up having to reassemble once inside of the car, so it can fit. On a Sat/Sun, we visit the park 2x, so imagine that I take this apart, reassemble, take apart, resabbeme etc. twice on Saturdays and twice on Sunday. The lighting on this is nearly useless, but I bought some bike battery lights and put them on the scooter. This makes a big difference if tying to see what you are goin. Comes mostly assembled, on a pallet, with a large amount of styrofoam and heavy duty cardboard surrounding the unit. No damage can happen because it is packaged so well. Unpackage and drive it off of the skid. Then you'll have fun getting all of the foam wrapped up and put away, plus the skid. Has been mostly flawless with only one small issue. If it beeps upon startup, and you hear a bunch of beeps, listen to what beep count is happening and you can then figure out what is happening. Might be the transmission lever got tapped into neutral, or maybe something else. Sometimes I'll get a speed potentiometer error and re-adjust the tiller, then the error goes away. I'm 300lbs and it can pull me up some steep grades when I use it. It is for my wife, but sometimes I use it to get around a mall/large store, etc. Sometimes that walk to the mens room is too much for my feet (neuropathy) and need some help...not often, but sometimes. Best scooter in terms of price and value, meaning you can use on pavement/mall/etc....the airless tires are such a blessing, never worry about a flat tire! Vidacura was FAST to process the order and drop ship to my house - I had it within a couple of days. Needed it ASAP, they made it happen. I feel very confident with Vidacure as a supplier. I have the 5 year extended warranty, I know it is worth having because things like this can break and a warranty helps secure the future of it without added cost later on. Plus you get a referral bonus once you are a customer - you can reference my code 43606 and you'll get $20 off and I think I get a $20 store credit or something. Regardless I tell people that Vidacura was fast, easy, and the best value I could find on this scooter. The scooter is comfortable to sit in and ride, can carry my big self at the 5mph on flat and up small inclines, bigger inclines it can slow to 3mph, but still, it keeps going. The battery meter is a huge assurance of having battery remaining without being stranded. If you do get stranded, you can shift the unit to NEUTRAL (on the motorized wheel section) and simply push it back to the car. Controls are easy, unit works great, and there is nothing more I can say. I found out about Pride mobility scooters when I rented one at the Orlando Convention Center for a security show. I would never have made it without a scooter, back and forth from one end to the other, and back again, multiple times each day for classes and exhibits. If a scooter rental company uses Pride, I knew they had to be the best. Batteries are easy enough to carry in and charge in the house, although I don't have to charge them often because the scooter doesn't get long runs, it gets shorter runs down into the park and back to the car, that kind of thing. On longer rides, it does great, and the shock absorbers are not a gimmick, they work. Even so, you'll feel bigger bumps if not careful. So, be alert, take your time, and enjoy the ride. This scooter has given my wife a summer outside every day, something she hasn't been able to do for 2 years because it hurt too much to get into the park to enjoy the sun/air/nature/etc. While a simple pleasure for most, for her it was unreachable until I figured out this could help her. She's has significant medical issues for 5 years now and keeps getting bad news about her health, so this has improved her quality of life by giving her the ability to get around when she wasn't able to before. And sometimes I use it too, having bad feet, it can help me get through a bad situation on those days that my feet have checked out and the pain is excruciating to just walk somewhere. You will feel embarrassed at first if people you know see you on this, you'll worry that if you use it, you'll become dependent upon it. But you have to balance what is important in life. Had I not taken the chance on this, it would have been another summer I didn't get to spend with my wife while I played with the dogs at the park. That time spent with her, and her time with the dogs, in the sun and fresh air, are priceless. We never know how much time we have, so I try to make the most of every day. A day lost with my wife is a day I'll someday regret. This helped to solve that. Go ahead, try it. It is worth it. It can get you out there. This unit, using Vidacura, will be a successful experience for you, it has been for us. God Bless! ... show more

  • Tires are junk
The media could not be loaded. The solid tires sound like you’re driving through hot tar. I had another scooter with air tires virtually silent and the ride was much better. I need a set of air tires for my scooter or I’m sending it back

  • Third time using it and a pin bent. :(
It's super comfortable. It rides like a dream. But the third time using it, the person assembling it (a first time helper) misaligned the back wheels when putting it together (which is easy to do incorrectly), rendering it unusable until someone with pliers could fix it. Now I'm terrified to use it when new people (like Uber drivers) have to help me. What if I get stranded somewhere and have no way to get to where I'm going? Especially when I travel alone. So while it's a dreamy ride...I'm super cautious and really wondering if it was the right purchase after all. ... show more
