When the Pride scooter arrived, the box & packaging were pretty torn up. Fortunately, as I unpacked it, the scooter & parts were pristine! Easy to put together, and had a full battery right out of the box. Ran the scooter up a steep gravel driveway, and took the hill like Teddy Roosevelt storming the hills of San Juan! Yay! Took the scooter to an Air Show and it rolled right through a makeshift parking area, located in high grass, like a champ! Rolled right through a cinder, rocky area with ease, and gave my wife access to areas that would've left her in lots of pain if she'd had to walk through them. Battery is still new, but the battery life was excellent for this all-day event, and barely ticked down at all. This little scooter is a game changer! We're planning more trips to fairs and festivals, and look forward to spending more time outdoors again. This scooter is easy to disassemble and fits in the back of my car, along with 3 camp chairs, umbrellas, and a small cooler. All I all, we're extremely satisfied with the Pride Elite Traveller Plus, and would highly recommend it! ... show more

Been several weeks now and we're still really happy with it. Finding it quicker to assemble and reassemble each time. Very quick and agile to use. Turns well in tight spaces. Love going to parks & gardens but as leg issues worsened my ability to get around decreased drastically. This scooter is perfect for me. I haul it in the back of my Kia with1 seat down. Only remove seat & battery. I fold down the handlebar put it on neutral. I can then pick up front end & put on back of car, pick up the rear & wheel it all the way in. It’s wonderful that I can now enjoy long “walks” again with my husband. Knowing that I’m able to go out on my own & use this is a huge plus. This is easy to assemble & disassemble, long battery life, easy maneuverability & variable speeds. The seat pivots to the side for easy on/off & is handy for limited outdoor seating as I can pull alongside a table & turn seat sideways & stay seated on scooter. Highly recommend for anyone with mobility issues. No reason to miss out on the pleasures of leisure time ... show more

My husband & I like to go to a lot of outdoor events and I have knee problems. We purchased this scooter because it has larger wheels than most so it allows me the freedom to go through dirt , grass, trails wherever I need to go. Runs great on pavement as well. It's lightweight & easy to dis-assemble for my husband to just load into the back of our truck , no need for a special lift. Well worth the money ! ... show more

    • Great scooter, even better deal.
This scooter changed my life for the better. I cannot walk long distances and cannot stand up from a low or regular chair. This scooter solves both problems. It is simple to assemble though the individual parts are still a bit heavy for us older women with fair to middlin' backs. It is comfy, easy to steer (and surprisingly agile). When I ride into a room, I can turn the seat sideways and use it rather than a chair from which I may not be able to stand. I did a lot of online research then went to a local shop to sit on scooters. This was my numbers one both times. The shop couldn't meet the price on amazon plus I would have paid sales tax, so I saved several hundred dollars here. It takes a fair amount of space in the car: be prepared for that. ... show more

    • This is a great scooter!
This scooter works great for me. It does not turn as sharp as I would like, a three wheel unit would turn much sharper but for me I required a four wheeler because I weigh 300 lbs. It goes through door openings easily! I can use it all day with no problem, charging the battery overnight This is a great unit for me. I do my light grocery shopping with it there is limited space on the scooter so sometimes I pull a shopping cart behind for bulky items, paper towels, toilet paper plates cups plastic silverware ect. It works OK for me but some folks may not be able to do this. I store the scooter in the back of my Honda Pilot, taking off the battery pack, folding down the steering wheel and loading the two separate sections. The scooter and the battery are heavy but I can load it myself, keep in mind I am quite strong, some people may not be able to do this! All in all it's a great unit for me! ... show more

    • Freedom - Easy for traveling - I love this scooter!!
If you are in my shape with a mild mobility problem, have trouble getting through airports, or through the zoo with the kids in your life, this machine is a must purchase for you. I take mine on a plane frequently and they let me drive it through airport security to the gate and then down the ramp to the door where the plane crew can then stow it below. When we get to destination they take it back to the door of the plane so I do not have to rely on airport wheel chairs and helpers. (I need my wife to help me with this part) the machine then breaks down into 5 pieces to fit in the trunk of a rental car and so we can take it with us to our resort or hotel and can use it get around on vacation. I have a walker which I strap to the back with a bungee cord. One more thing to mention, the size of this scooter is smaller then other scooters that do not break down but that helps to get around on traversing ramps or in tight spaces like hotel rooms because of the tight turning radius and shorter length. The scooter is agile yet as a full grown person I am quite comfortable with the size. This is my 2nd Pride Go-Go Traveler Elite. The first one I bought pre-owned and it made it about 10 years with battery replacements every few years. This scooter is the one you need to just make your life easier if you are having trouble with walking long distances or are on a walker and you want a little more freedom to continue to do the things you enjoy doing.
