I think I have a regular head, but these are too tight. The band is just about to touch the face and the chin, the pressure in the ears is uncomfortable when worn for over a minute. They do pick sound, but sometimes they also pick my finger covering the hole when I need to use the diagram. The ear tubes were not stable. When I put the earpieces in my ears the ear tubes went in whatever direction they wanted. Kinda embarrassing while checking a patient’s blood pressure. Sound quality is amazing. Definitely lightweight.

I got this for my 3 year old daughter's doctor kit. It's great -- really works, and easy to put on and off. When it arrived the ear pieces were much too tight, but by bending that little metal thing that connects them I was able to very easily adjust it to fit my daughter's head. The only drawback for use as a kids' toy, and the reason I gave it 4 stars, is that the long cord attracts dust, lint, hair, etc. If you're a real nurse or doctor, that's not going to be a problem! But if you're a 3 year old, dragging it all over the house, it's going to get kinda gross. That said, I did a lot of research when getting her a stethoscope, and this one was the best by far as far as price, use, and durability. ... show more

Bought for 5 years old who wants to be a nurse and I put it in her Christmas stocking. This is under $8, and a lot better than buying toy one. We can hear the heart beat, breathing (you need to google how to properly hold.) and we can use this probably next 20 years. My daughter needs my permission to use it, since she breaks stuff often. This is not a toy, and she needs to take care the tools if she really wants to be a nurse. Good lesson too. ( I'm reviewing 3 years after purchasing, and it is still in good condition. I've never owned stethoscope, so I can't compare with real doctor's one, but I can hear my kids' asthma with this.) ... show more

Sounds silly but I bought this when my toddler balked at the Doctor's office when they tried to use on him for a regular check up. I wanted him to be comfortable with the tool Nurses and Doctor's use and not create a bigger fear than necessary. He enjoys playing Nurse/Doctor with Momma or his stuffed animals. This is my second prestige stethoscope that I've bought in my life, and I'm still really happy with the brand. I ordered the green and the color looks amazingly bright and pretty. It doesn't come in a box as a poster previously said, but in this foam cutout thing. I do like that it includes extra parts and a snap on name tag which is another plus as I don't have to worry about my co-workers running off with it lol! As I've said before, I've bought one of these in the past and this works just as well as that one. I can clearly and easily hear what I need and the stethoscope sits well around your neck without being too long or short. ... show more

Took some adjustments to get it fitting my ears right, but once that was squared away this works just fine. Excellent value for the cost-I'm not a vet and don't need a pricey piece of equipment. If you can't hear anything you're probably listening with the wrong side. If you're using the bell, make sure the mark on the swivel is lined up with the bell and same with the diaphragm side. And don't press too hard. Takes a lot of practice, but it's good to do before you NEED to use it. My dogs and horses are probably getting tired of me listening to gut, heart and lung sounds by now! ... show more
