I feel like I need to clear the air on this product! I put this together rather easily but it is a job and will take a few hours. Some of the reviews on here seem very odd to me as my experience with this Dresser was not problematic at all. The manual is very well done and way better than most especially if you have ever put together IKEA products. This manual makes IKEA manuals look like stone tablets from 2000 B.C. as it is very detailed which is greatly appreciated. I will say that if you are a novice, there may be 1 or 2 things within the assembly manual that aren't exactly clear and may leave you to leave a piece off or install the drawer rails upside down but if you carefully READ the sentences at the top or bottom of the page, you won't make a mistake. Don't just go by the pictures, actually read the instructions! The 2 bottom pieces are interchangeable (clearly stated in the manual) and are different designs. It is your preference of which one to use. The picture shows the plain one in front. I used a more decorative one and will post pictures later. The drawer rail boards that mount to the center piece and have the rails installed on them are clearly stamped L or R (Left or Right) and the rails are clearly marked with DL or DR (Drawer Left or Drawer Right) to avoid any confusion. When it was all said and done, the quality of the wood was actually very study and the black shines greatly once you wipe off the particles that result from packaging. If you are trying to save money, I think you will love this dresser. Try not to be swayed by the reviewers who clearly don't put together furniture or other items very much. I am an engineer and have assembled many things but even so, I promise this dresser is not hard to assemble if you have patience and read your steps clearly before proceeding. Take your time! There are a lot of fasteners and hardware pieces to use so allow a few hours to do the work. The drawers take the most time but are very sturdy when finished. The camshafts (locked fasteners that look like screws) are color coded to ensure you put the right ones in the correct places. As for missing hardware, I did not experience this but if you buy enough furniture that requires assembly, you will run in to this at least a time or two. This dresser looks amazing when finished especially with the high quality knobs that come with it for the drawers. Now will this dresser stand the test of time? That will remain to be seen but take proper care of it and I think it will last a long time and save you a lot of money! ... show more

I dislike the instructions and how easy it is to damage some of the corners. I love the look and style of the dresser. The size is great. It’s so nice for the price. I suggest you get a drill. It was taking us forever to out it together. Once we got the drill everything become easier and faster

Very difficult to put together, nothing is labeled. Spent 3 hours putting this dresser together just for the holes on one of the drawers to be in the wrong spot, so now it is a five drawer dresser. Also what dresser doesn’t come with handles included or at least a space to open the drawers??? It is made from durable wood and would like nice if the drawer would fit in the dresser, and had some handles. Disappointed to spend this much time putting together and now if I want to return I’ll have to spend as much time taking this thing apart and dragging it to the nearest return location. Don’t buy unless you want headaches. UPDATE ON REVIEW: This was still difficult to put together. But all the issues with certain parts not fitting properly because of error and the handles being missing were resolved so quickly by their customer service team that sent me a new drawer with the proper holes and new handles. I respect the customer service and the dresser is actually really nice looking and durable ... show more

    • Too expensive for what it's worth!!!

This dresser appears much nicer and spacious than it really is. It's most definitely not worth the price that is charged. It's made of very cheap wood and the assembly isn't difficult but it is very annoying to do. You get the exact amount of items needed which could be good and bad. GOOD because you don't have any left over items that you won't use and BAD because if you do mess something up, you're f'd. The drawers are a decent amount...if you have children clothing to put away.....Also, scratches can happen very easily on this dresser! It comes with a pen to cover any marks but if it's a deep one, that marker won't make any difference. On an upside, I like that the top can be used as a table for whatever I need. I hope this lasts long enough to get my money's worth out of it! But from the looks of it, it might last about a year if I'm lucky. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to spend more than an hr on assembly because you know damn well the price is too expensive to have someone build it for you in your home!! Another reason not to buy this item is due to the inner size of the drawers. It is slightly uncomfortable to open the drawers themselves because they don't go out all the way unless you're trying to take it out fully. (which you might have to do in order to fit everything neatly) Be careful how much weight you put in them as well, the cheap wood will not sustain really heavy items. IF YOU'RE DESPERATE, please buy it. But I guarantee that you can do better!! Did I mention that this was sent by WALMART?! And that it comes in 2 separate packages that are somewhat too heavy to carry alone unless dragged.....If you do decide on getting this item, please don't build it alone. Have at least 2 other people so you're done quickly. 1 person building the drawers, and 2 making the actual dresser frame. Trust me, if I had had help, it would've saved me at least 40 mins of annoyance. GOOD LUCK. ***i will add pictures later so it's fair*** ... show more
