Purchased this as a gift to my granddaughter upon her high school graduation as she is now heading off to nursing school to study to be an oncology nurse. This stethoscope arrived in perfect condition, sound quality is very clear and loud, and works every bit as good as my Littman. This is an amazing stethoscope, especially for the price. The bad reviews stating the large side doesn't work I suspect is because those people don't know to twist the bell!

    • Excellent value and great acoustics
I like this stethoscope alot! It's just the right weight and has all of the features of very expensive 'brand name' models. I've worked in ER/Critical Care and now in a private clinic. This scope performs great in any environment. DO NOT spend hundred of dollars on a stethoscope! This one is amazing and the price is fantastic. My only problem is that one of the ear tubes came completely out of the tubing. I tried putting it back in, but it won't stay. There isn't any information about the manufacturer or how to get replacement parts. I'm back to using my old 'name brand' (starts with an L)- and it simply isn't as good. ... show more

Quality - 10/10 (I have nothing to base it on, but it appears well built) Sound - 8/10 Fit - 8/10 Why I bought this item... I have this condition, like many others do, where my heart beats extra fast at times. I think it has to do with my diet and stress, but my heart will beat very fast and slow down. I don't think it's Arrhythmia, but just palpitations. Anyway, I thought it would be a good idea to actually hear what's going on since an EKG wasn't able to tell the doctors anything other than my heart appeared to be beating normally. Anytime my heart beats incredibly fast, I usually break this out to try to hear for anything abnormal. I have since changed my diet and stopped drinking coffee and haven't had this issue again, but still glad I bought this product just in case I hear something out of the ordinary. ... show more
