Features

  • PORTABLE electric fence that has 12 horizontal strands (11 conductive), is 48" tall installed and has string verticals every 3". Built-in double spike line posts are spaced every 10'.
  • CONTAINS sheep, goats and guard dogs, while KEEPING OUT coyotes, stray dogs, bears and other ground-based predators.
  • QUICK & SIMPLE to move. Even for new users, it takes less than 15 minutes to go from out-of-the-box netting to installed fence. No tools needed!
  • BEST-IN-CLASS VISIBILITY. Black and white contrast provides maximum visibility to both humans and animals against light and dark backgrounds. Its low electrical resistance (only 38 /1000 ft) is an important benefit for longer fences and/or fences with high weed contact.
  • FENCE MUST BE PROPERLY ENERGIZED TO BE EFFECTIVE. (Energizer is NOT included.) It's important to perform routine vegetation maintenance to minimize grass/weed load on the fence and reduce energy drain.
  • BACKED BY PREMIER 1 USAs most trusted netting source for over 40 years!

  • It works
It definitely requires two people to set up and take down if you want to do it in a timely manner. It is worth it because it works great. We use it for our goats and have no problems. We received it quick and it was packaged well.

  • This works if you train your goats to respect it.
I like this fence so far, I used it to keep my boar buck and a wether from getting away in the woods. I trained them to the wire so they wood know it is hot and do far this is the only thing keeping these guys from having total access to the 35 acres of woods behind our farm.

  • Stays Hot if You Use the Proper Box--Sags a lot
This fence is a great deterrent when you cannot install post and no climb. The biggest complaint I have is the span between the posts--it is too long for the flimsy posts so it really needs supplement posts between the fixed posts. The netting sags. If you do not have a straight and even path, and even then I think you'd be hard-pressed to get it tight enough not to sag, it will droop. The seller does say other posts can be used. Maybe change that to "must be used." You must follow their instructions for the type of hot box to keep this fence hot. If it is not hot, and there is a blade of grass on the other side, you will have a goat wrapped in netting and posts, horns, neck, torso, feet, everything--a total disaster! It has happened three times with two goats but now it seems we've got it figured out. ... show more

  • posts are so weak they can not hold up the netting
Don't waste your money! This is the worst product I have ever used. The posts are so weak they can not even hold the netting up in a straight line let alone if you need to go around a corner. They recommend different posts to be added to help it make a corner. NEVER been more disappointed in a product more than in this one. Rabbits ate holes in the netting and never got the electrical connections to work for electrifying the fence. ... show more

  • Not sturdy enough for my goats
This fence installed easily enough and is very lightweight and flexible to allow lots of different configurations. Unfortunately, the stakes are so flimsy that they bent as I attempted to drive them into our hard ground. When I added our goats to the pen, one of them bolted into the fence and became entangled. Upset by the shocks he pulled over one of the posts, bending the stake at the bottom out of shape by about 45 degrees. This is a small goat (Nigerian Dwarf), and it's discouraging that even an animal of this size is able to cause permanent damage to the fencing. In softer ground, and with calmer and gentler animals, it might work just fine. But it's not really a good solution for vigorous bucklings that will blunder into it, and should be sold with that information provided. ... show more
