We bought this for keeping our young goats from slipping through fence a problem we had with the premier "goat" sized fence we already had. Get this one instead of you have goats / small animals works just as good, same price, is durable, and little ones don't slip through on you. I’ve purchased 5 strands of this fencing and recommended it to friends. I’ve purchased multiple others but this one is small enough at the base that it keeps baby goats in too!!! It does need reinforcement; it sags a lot compared to others because of the tighter weaving. This will work with a solar charger; but I recommend using it with an electric charger because of the sag; if using in a grassy area. I had an issue with one strand that wasn’t working, I sent a message and they responded VERY quickly but we were able to fix the problem ourselves. Some of our older premier fencing is showing very obvious signs of weathering from being in the sun and I don’t expect it to last more than 2 years unfortunately. We have an easement on our property under power lines so assumed this would be the best option for portability but I’m not sure it was the smartest investment in terms of longevity. We try to move our grazing areas frequently (weekly to bi-weekly) but it hugely depends on how wet the ground is. We haven’t had any rain for awhile now and we grow rocks here, when we put the fencing in the ground was damp, now it’s like trying to pull stakes out of concrete so we’re just waiting for rain so we can move it again. This fencing has some great perks in terms of portability, it’s easy to install and very maneuverable with 2 people in a short time if your ground allows it. The poles bend easily; I’d like them to be tougher and to see a larger area at the base so I could use my foot to push the stakes into the ground. ... show more

I ordered for my husband to let his chickens free range safely and after they tested 😅😅😅🤣the fence a handful times they understood the assignment 😂 the charger is not sold with this but the fence was super easy to put up and we are happy with it. Good investment!

    • good for straight lines
I bought this thinking that I would be able to maneuver it around my backyard. There are 2 problems with this: 1. The stakes are not very sturdy so anything other than a straight line or a few corners will not work. The stakes bend easily and so any angles you create, the stakes will just bend. I had to use the strings on almost every angle i created. 2. The space between the stakes is very long. Almost double the other fence I have and so it is very difficult to get it to not sag in the middle, even when the bottom is taught. I would not buy it again. :( ... show more

The posts on this fence are so flimsy the whole bottom foot just rests on the ground. When we contacted the company they told us to get T posts, cover them with PVC, and then use those to shore up the fence to make it less saggy. Spent another $50 for T posts and PVC. Fence still didn't work. Then we were told we needed a larger charger. Spent another $180 on a larger charger. Despite getting a 7000v reading from the charger, fence still had nothing. Called company again. We assured them that the fence was installed properly. We were told that the bottom can't be sagging on the ground at all and that this was their "most inferior product"... UM... WHY ARE YOU SELLING IT THEN? Horrible waste of money. Do not buy. ... show more

The quality and performance of the product is good. Value for money is OK. Any portable fince like this is aggravating to install. But I like that you can move it easy. The size of this fence is good.

I have to admit I was super frustrated with this at first. I was trying to use it in a smaller rectangle and I couldn't make it work. So I just made it into a regular rectangle and it worked but then I saw a problem once I got it up. I had already emailed customer service with some questions so I sent them pictures of the problem and they said it was s damage during manufacturing. They sent me an entirely new netting right away. When I asked if they would pay for shipping to send the original one back they told me just to keep it. I am VERY IMPRESSED with their customer service. ... show more

The fence rolls out & easy to hook up but the poles are weak. Had to re-enforce with stakes. Especially at the Corners.
