  • Great customer service!
I have to admit I was super frustrated with this at first. I was trying to use it in a smaller rectangle and I couldn't make it work. So I just made it into a regular rectangle and it worked but then I saw a problem once I got it up. I had already emailed customer service with some questions so I sent them pictures of the problem and they said it was s damage during manufacturing. They sent me an entirely new netting right away. When I asked if they would pay for shipping to send the original one back they told me just to keep it. I am VERY IMPRESSED with their customer service. ... show more

  • Great product! Not as durable as hoped for.
I’ve purchased 5 strands of this fencing and recommended it to friends. I’ve purchased multiple others but this one is small enough at the base that it keeps baby goats in too!!! It does need reinforcement; it sags a lot compared to others because of the tighter weaving. This will work with a solar charger; but I recommend using it with an electric charger because of the sag; if using in a grassy area. I had an issue with one strand that wasn’t working, I sent a message and they responded VERY quickly but we were able to fix the problem ourselves. Some of our older premier fencing is showing very obvious signs of weathering from being in the sun and I don’t expect it to last more than 2 years unfortunately. We have an easement on our property under power lines so assumed this would be the best option for portability but I’m not sure it was the smartest investment in terms of longevity. We try to move our grazing areas frequently (weekly to bi-weekly) but it hugely depends on how wet the ground is. We haven’t had any rain for awhile now and we grow rocks here, when we put the fencing in the ground was damp, now it’s like trying to pull stakes out of concrete so we’re just waiting for rain so we can move it again. This fencing has some great perks in terms of portability, it’s easy to install and very maneuverable with 2 people in a short time if your ground allows it. The poles bend easily; I’d like them to be tougher and to see a larger area at the base so I could use my foot to push the stakes into the ground. ... show more

  • Security
This fence is so easy to use and move around. I love it for the protection of my chickens and it has come in handy with my goats also.

  • Great product!
I have used poultry netting for years for my chickens. Used it to contain horse, chickens and sheep all together in the same pen and it kept everyone in. I highly recommend keeping it electrified all the time just to keep the rabbits from chewing on it. I prefer the premier 1 fence to other brands I have used..I like the extra height and the single post design. ... show more

  • Cheaply made, plastic poles and poor conductivity
Cheap and flimsy. Poles do not hold up the netting. Poles are plastic, not fiberglass and sagged. The instructions required guy lines at all four corners, but only included enough rope for two. The wire in the netting did not conduct enough electricity hurt at all even though it was hooked up to the same model fence charger that I use for my horses. The most frustrating part was when I returned it after 1 week of disappointing use, they charged me a 20% restocking fee. Stay away from this cheap product! ... show more

  • Flimsy poles
I'd give this a 5 star rating if they improved the poles, they need to be sturdier, these tend to bend easily if you want to get the fencing tight. We had to purchase other poles that were much more sturdier. We used those every second pole to help keep things tight and straight.

  • Chickens escaping
The fence is easy to carry. The posts of this fencing is not sturdy. It is very flexible and bends too easily causing the netting to sag. Because of this sagging, the mesh at the bottom which is smaller and is meant to prevent the smaller chickens (10weeks) from going out out of the enclosed area sags thereby making it easier for the chickens to slip through the larger mesh which is above the smaller mesh. Also, there's is nothing to step on to push the post into the ground so when trying to install by hand, there is no leverage with the posts being so bendy so it makes it difficult to push into the soil so we installed ours using a mallet to drive them into the ground ... show more
