Finding a less expensive but natural looking fountain was hard, so I bought this one and hacked it. Add a real plant if you can find one to the cavity for holding a plant, make sure it is small in scale so it doesn’t overwhelm the scale of this small fountain. Find small river rocks and add to the water cavities, including the one with the rolling crystal ball (too cheesy). You still get kinetic movement with the wheel and water. I also covered the multicolored LED light up and don’t use that at all. (You can’t remove it) Tuck the electric cords behind the unit. The only downside to the sound is you can hear the sound of a fish tank aquarium type motor along with the trickle of water, but that is the nature of a small fountain, not a defect. ... show more
