I absolutely love this air fryer! I put off buying one but SIL has this one for years! During the past hot summer I used it to cook and reheat without heating up kitchen! It is great for reheating leftovers. I have used all the functions except the dehydrator. The rotisserie makes wonderful pork loins.(They do have to be tied with cooking string,) It is a little tricky to place the spikes to make it turn but once you get it ... Thick pork chops at the right temperature come our crispy as if fried. Homemade french fries without the grease. it also cooks frozen food without defrosting like chicken fingers, etc. (Haven's used it this way but ...) Reheated fried chicken comes out fresh in 10-12 minutes! We actually bought another one for a woman in a shelter with children. ... show more

We've had this product for a month now, so it's time for a review. In the month we've had this item, it has quickly become an integral part of our family cooking. We quickly fell in love with how nice and easy to use this is. -The food comes out nice and crispy without being dried out. -Cooking times are fast and there's no preheating needed -We can cook meals for five easily with the multiple trays -Example: tray of spicy hot wings, tray of mild hot wings, tray of vegetables, tray of tater tots - all done in less than 30 minutes since we could cook all at the same time -Microwave pizzas take just a minute or two longer than in the microwave, but come out MUCH crispier than ones cooked in the microwave -Reheating foods is also very easy There are presets for different foods, the rotisserie items work wonderfully, and they send you all attachments and items you need (rather than having to purchase them separately). They also include several cookbooks that give wonderful ideas for cooking. Important note: we have not tried the dehydration functions yet, but reviews I've seen elsewhere have stated varying degrees of success utilizing those functions. We may try making some banana chips soon. Even if the dehydrator functions don't work so well, we still feel that this has been an excellent investment on our part. ... show more

Bought 2 of the 8qt ones. One for me and one for my dad. So I'm giving 2 reviews in 1!! My dad said the smell of burnt plastic filed up the whole house. (My fault because i forgot to tell him to plug it in outside for the 1st time it's turned on). Just so everyone knows, the burnt plastic smell does go away. He said the recipe books didn't say how to get fries like they showed in the commercial! He tried fries several ways and he prefers them fried in a pan of oil. He doesn't like the basket, not sure why. But that is the most I've heard him complain about it. I can tell you that he uses it all the time. He has rotisserie, baked, fried, and done different food (ya know nothing cooks at same temp or for same time) in it all at same time. He learned biscuits cook as fast in it as it does to make the packaged gravy. He told me, he almost didn't get the gravy done fast enough and almost burnt the biscuits. Btw I tried the meats hrs done several ways in his...its juicy and not dry (which is what I thought was going to happen). Now for me. Havent used mine much, mostly cause i dont eat alot. Btw i did remember to put mine outside (on the covered back porch) when I 1st turned it on. I just ran it a few times and it was good to go. Also my door doesnt stay closed when not in use!! Not sure why, so i just use the tape it had on it from shipping. The 1st thing i did in it was cinnamon toast. Used wire rack and it came out like crutons! So next time I used the drip pan for cinnamon toast and it turned out much better. Still getting hang of temp and times, because it is different than the stove/oven but I'll get it. (Picture is of my cinnamon toast the 1st attempt! Lol) I've cooked other things in it and I'm still on a learning curve and I eat my mishaps. Lol So why 4 stars? Well because if the French fries issue, and my door not staying closed when not in use. Hmm maybe it's trying to tell me to use it more and so it just opens?!! Lol Oh also for the recipe books not having French fries in them. (May seem like a stupid thing about the fries but not to my dad) To be honest I wish these would have been out when I was in the military cause I would have used it then. It's great for singles, families and military personnel who cook in their rooms (doesnt break the rules of no open coils and it cooks in multiple ways!) ... show more

I waited two month to write a review. Loved this product but needed to try out everything it could do. I've cooked jerky, rotisserie chicken, rotisserie sausage, dehydrated fruits and veggies chips, scallops, fish, shrimp, fried okra, the best bacon ever, home made red potato fries, chips, and scallop potatoes, and roasted many different veggies. All turned out good to excellent.....good the first time and excellent once you refine the recipe. Plus for this unit over others I investigated are it's ability to do multiple racks of dehydration, air frying, or a rotisserie. Others with just a drawer were not able to do all of that. Rotisserie is incredible. Where it lacks is the three recipe books. They are weak, but do get you started with ideas. Try some but expect to surf the internet or even buy a few books on air frying. Cleaning can require a little work depending on what you cook. Unit has lots if preset settings for foods but you soon realize none of them are optimal to the best results. Quite a bit more expensive than less capable units but if you want something that works well and you can use for many great meals, buy one. ... show more
