  • Seems well made. very good deal.
Size: 4800W-CO
The generator is a reasonable size, generally manageable for one man to lift or load. Started up on the second pull. Choke worked very well. The engine is a good size and it takes a healthy pull to start. Hopefully the pull starter will hold up well. In Eco mode, it idles down lower and is pretty quiet. My purpose is emergency use, so I haven't given it a complete test yet. All seems good so far though. Included was a plug end to plug into the RV output receptacle. This will be useful in making a cord to feed my breaker box. ... show more

  • This generator is awesome
Size: 2500W-CO
Firstly this generator for the price has proven to be better than any other similar make of generators. I have owned a Honda Eui1000, a champion 2500, and 4 Predator 2000 units. All of which had similar issues. After trying to fix the altitude fuel jet on the Honda it simply stopped operating. It starts, runs and as soon as you load it it fails, the predators just stop working, anywhere from 6 to 24 months after purchase. The Champion is still Awaiting a new ignition, also all of those have an issue with the recoil starters fraying as soon as you use them. And they are all noisy. This Power Pro, starts on first pull all most always, never more than two pulls, Runs on Eco mode for 5 hours on a half gallon of fuel, probably due to lower power service requirement, produces 1900 continuous watts, and is honestly the quietest portable generator I have ever owned. Easier to service than any of the Predator units, quieter than the Honda, and no fraying of the starter pull cord and have started it over 2 dozen times. This unit is being used for about 5 hours a day to top off a battery pack used with inverters before shutting down for the night. So farther everyone in this family is satisfied. I plan on installing an hour meter on it to schedule the oil changes accurately. For the money this is a top performing unit. Need a reliable back up. This is the one to get. ... show more

  • She prrrrrrrs
Size: 2500W-CO
So far this little generator has been amazing, it’s super quiet, turns on with the first pull, and is nice and compact. So far it was able to run a 1800w space heater and other items without any issues For a long running engine, put fresh oil in it once received, let it run for an hour, and change out the oil. This will help remove any dust or metal leftover from the manufacturing process. ... show more

  • Can't run fuel out to keep carb clean
Size: 2500W-CO
Starts easy, runs OK (it's no Honda), but when shutting a generator down, most tell you to shut the gas line and run the fuel out so the carb stays clean. The manual for this one says: "When turn the switch to "FUEL OFF" position, engine cannot stop immediately, after fuel is exhausted the engine stop." Well, there IS NO "FUEL OFF" position indicated on any switch, anywhere. The ONLY option is to turn the two-in-one switch to OFF (the big red one), which shuts the generator down immediately. So the fuel does not get drained properly, and that can't be good over time. Is there simply a FUEL OFF marking MISSING, and if I turn it part way, it will drain? If so, please let me know and I'll increase my rating. Update: after taking the photo for this review, I tried turning the red knob to the tiny (unmarked) tick mark just before the OFF position. And then I proceeded to wait what seemed like a very long time. It eventually did run dry and shut off. That’s very good. Bumping up to 4 stars. Still have my doubts about how durable this thing is. And it’s not very good at responding to loads when in eco mode. But still, send like a good buy. 5/28/24 Update Landon R’s reviews was excellent. He’s right on the money. I always figure a generator can be continuously loaded to about 50% of its rating. And that seems to be about where this one falls. But I agree claiming 2500 watts is way in excess of what it can really supply. I have a small, 1 HP hot dog compressor that this unit cannot start, and 1 hp is only 745 watts. I get that it’s a motor load, but that’s less than 1/3 of the rated power! All in all, I still say it’s worth the price. ... show more

This generator powered everything I needed which include: Three 500w AC units. 2 frig's 3-Tv's 1 computer and Internet router WITH NO PROBLEMS!! And it is so quiet. I could not hear it in the house and no way my neighbors could hear it during my test on a clear day!!! maneuverable easy setup! my wife could have put this in place and with the push button start it would have been a piece of cake for her! ... show more

  • The great value
Size: 2500W-CO
I attempted to return the generator after it would not stay running. Customer service would not let me return it and they said that I could keep it. Because they cannot return something that is hazmat. Turns out it was a mistake on my part not turning the valve on the "on" position while running it. There's an on and off switch on top of the gas cap. It does say to do that in the instructions but I must have missed it. Great value and excellent design. On a machine like this. I check the oil often, there is a door on the bottom that you can remove quickly instead of removing the whole entire cover. I really like the manual choke, sometimes in extreme cold weather you need the choke to stay closed so it warms up faster. It's very quiet especially on the Eco mode. It's also pretty lightweight not as heavy as it's competitors. I use it for a electric heater at 700 Watts and an engine block heater at 900 watts. I've had this thing running on one gallon for about 8 hours with non-ethanol gasoline on non-eco mode. Like I said before the design of this generator is excellent. The overflow for the carburetor bowl is nicely put away and drains well. It's much cheaper than Honda and just as quiet. They both weigh about the same and it lasts almost as long. Even if this thing breaks in 5 years you can buy another one and this will be cheaper than 1 Honda. ... show more

  • Works great
Size: 2500W-CO
Provides enough power to run any power tool while building my off-grid cabin. I've had it a year and it has started easily every time, usually on the second pull.
