I originally bought this generator to take when dry camping. I had to use it when hurricane Milton came. It was easy to use, quiet and kept the food in my refrigerator and freezer cold. As a bonus, I hooked it up to my camper and was able to run the air and TV. Great little generator for the price!

I had a friend who lent me this generator when Houston was hit by a Storm called a Derecho in May. This unit was able to power my portable AC, lamps, TV and phone charger. Luckily- I purchased this as we were hit with Hurricane Beryl a few weeks later. No power for days. But because of this little unit our family was comfortable in our bedroom until Houston was able to restore our power. Helpful as my husband had a stroke, so this is easier for me to manage alone.     • Reliable for Small in home low current appliances
GEN is easy to start, quite, light, pretty good gas per hour... 1gallon for 7 hours/ 15 amp LG fridge. I initially tried runnig my small air compressor for a backyard job and It was spotty in handling that compressor due to inrush current being obviously too high. However during Hurricane Beryl it ran for several days 10 to 15 hours for our LG fridge with dual icemakers or swapped it over to a window AC unit 110 VAC , in addition also handling box fans or lamps with either of the former mentioned.. Economic and very quiet. I have lost a whole freezer full of meat before, but never again. It ran a full size refrigerator freezer, a big screen TV and stereo system along with internet connections perfectly. I'm going to make a through wall heavy duty connection cord from outdoor to indoor instead of cracking the door. ... show more

CO monitor's goes off in a well ventilated area and shuts down the generator. Sending it back. A 60 pound paper weight. Update : No word from the company as of yet except a, "Thanks for buying from us", email. This machine is garbage. If I can't get any help from either Amazon or this company, this paperweight is going in a landfill brand new in the box. Letters to consumer groups incoming. ... show more

    • First tank of gas, it ran for 14 hours.
So far, I have only ran one tank of gas and I am impressed. It's a nice looking and well-appointed little gen-set that that is also well made. This is a good value for our hard-earned money.
