Description

Take your PowerBlock dumbbell workouts to the next level with the sturdy Sport Bench. Made of 2-by-3-inch, 14-gauge tubing, the bench is sturdy and versatile, with a five-position backrest that varies from flat to military position (with 30-, 45-, and 60-degree adjustments in between). In addition, you can adjust the seat pad downward when in the incline positions, ensuring that you won't slip forward while lifting. Best of all, the separate seat and back pads offer tapered upholstered cushions, helping you sit comfortably while performing bicep curls, shoulder presses, dumbbell chest presses, or leg lifts. The bench--which offers no removable parts and comes mostly assembled-- measures 50 by 18 by 21.5 inches (W x H x D) when flat.

Bench is ok. I’m sure I’ll need to upgrade once I get to heavier weights but it does the job. PowerBlock’s customer service however, pretty pitiful. As you see in the photos, there’s some damage to the handle. I figured it’d be an easy fix as it’s a relatively small part. Not worth returning to Amazon and companies always want you to contact them first if missing pieces, damaged parts, etc. So I did. They wanted to charge me, wait for it, $70 to ship the part to me. After I balked, the best they would do was split the shipping cost. $35. No. A customer should never be out of pocket when something does not come new. This wasn’t caused by shipping either. As we all know, gym equipment has been hard to come by during these crazy times. I was checking the official PowerBlock page every day since May to see if the SportBench had restocked. What had me interested about this bench is its ability to add a dip or pull up bar attachment to it to save space. I randomly checked Amazon two weeks ago and noticed that this bench was in stock. I've used this bench for a week now, and I'd give a solid 4.5/5 for now. I'm still waiting for my pull up bar attachment to come in. Installation was a little bit of a hassle without a real wrench, but pretty simple. I wanted to support P.B. since they make their dumbbells in America. I thought the bench was also made in the US, but color me disappointed when I saw the "Product of PRC" on the box. This bench doesn't have the same amount of angles of the IronMaster bench, but it does have the most used angles of 30, 45, 60, and 90 degrees. It's expanded my exercise selection this week, and I couldn't be more stoked. It does slide around so I suggest putting a mat underneath. ... show more

I bought because I dont want to go to the gym. It comes in 3 pieces, it has 4 bolts. That's it for assembly. Packaging was excellent. 0 damage, rust, etc. Pad is thick and comfortable. My son loves his Sport Bench. It's very solid, but if you plan to use the attachment with it for pull-ups and or chin-ups, it's not as stabile as I thought it would be.
