  • Official charger? Yes please
Works great, pretty lights which you can toggle on and off. Perfect fit for portal and charges up normally, don’t have to worry about it catching fire since it’s officially licensed.

  • Well Built and Looks Great
Build quality feels great. It has a bit of weight to the base along with rubber feet to help keep it from sliding around. The magnetic usb-c adapter is nicely engineered to prevent wear and tear by reducing friction from connecting and disconnecting a usb port. Instead it just sits on the connectors to get a charge. The LED light pattern can be changed by just touching the back of the stand and rotating through the options. You can also tell if the portal is charged at a glance according to the LED light (dependent on your LED light setting you selected). It feels very sturdy with the Portal docked. Overall a nice way to display and charge your portal. ... show more

  • Amazing dock and charger for PS Portal Remote
This is amazing!! It has a little Mag Safe dongle that plugs into the dock that makes docking and charging easy. This is not a HDMI/Video Dock, it merely charges the Portal and you can either have lights or turn the lights off the display when its charging. The dongle in the back is a little temperamental to remove but if you wiggle it a bit it'll come out. Or just pack and bring the dock with you when you travel. If you have a case you can put the dongle in the case (DON'T LOSE IT, if you do, you'll have to buy a whole new dock) I just pack my dock, its small enough and fits right in my carry-on. Highly recommend this if you are looking for an easy way to charge your Portal. Mine would just sit on the couch until it died, then I'd go plug it in somewhere, now when I'm done playing I dock it and always have a fully charged portal. ... show more

  • Looks cool, charges your Portal, that's about it
It charges your Portal magnetically using a USB accessory. Sometimes it's hard to find when placing the portal on the dock. But it looks cool and is officially licensed, so I do like it. Build quality is great, lights are great, charging could be faster though

  • Nice but couple issues
Nice charging station. Only thing I do not like is my protective case will not fit when on dock, and how do I remove the magnetic usb from portal if I ever want to? It is very difficult to remove and cannot figure out how to safely.

  • Really love this charger stand for my PS Portal
It lights up with a tap of your finger Portal is easily placed on plus it’s well made and makes your portal look cool. My only complaint would be they should make the little usbc peace a little smaller so other cases fit along with it.

  • A thin case will cause it not to work
It boggles my mind that this was not made to work if you simply have a thin plastic/rubber covering on your Portal. This accessory is only usable if you don't have a case for your portal and that's crazy. Shame I already opened it up and can't get a refund now. It's absolute useless as a product.

  • 4.8 stars, good charging stand with some very minor flaws
This is overall an excellent charging stand for the Playstation Portal. The fact that it is officially licensed automatically makes it the best option currently available, as you are guaranteed to not have any weirdness with voltage and charging protocol. The USB insert fits in an attractive, low profile manner and the Portal fits securely in the weighted stand. I have two minor complaints: First, the USB insert is somewhat difficult to remove when you need to charge with a regular USB C cable, as there is almost nothing to grip. It would definitely be cool if they offered a USB C cable with a matching magnet setup at the end for charging without the stand while traveling, so removal would never be necessary. And second, I *really* wish the lights could be dimmed further. Even on the lowest setting, the lights are still way too bright for a dark room, but they can easily be turned off, so it's not a huge issue. But other than those minor complaints, this is an excellent charging stand. And let's face it, the location of the USB charging port on the Portal is quite a pain to reach, so this is a very nice accessory to have! ... show more
