The amount of accent lighting, the solar lights provide is exactly what I was looking for. Very easy to install. There are two settings on the type of light they provide, and I have them set on the softer white versus the bright white. Since they are solar lights, any that don’t get direct sunlight to charge throughout the day, maybe less bright than the others. I purchased 16 lights for my back patio that is fenced in with redwood fencing. I place the lights around on the fence and some on the house walls. All seem to work well and give the lighting I wanted and expected...that is all but one. Even though it is exposed to light similar to the our 15 it only stays lighted for about 2 hours after sunset. As it happens, it was placed in a key position so is obvious that it isn't working after it crashes. I'd replace it but don't want to have to purchase 4 more lights to just get one. ... show more

I purchase 36 of these to light the perimeter of my backyard ...side of house and drive. After I received them I install the in an hour or so. My mistake was installing them on a porous surface with Alien tape. They fell off after a steady rain. The one that I placed on the vinyl siding did fine. There was one non working lamp . I didn't bother reporting it. You can change the color from bright to soft white...and maybe 8 other colors. This is so much easier that landscape wired lights with a transformer. I would definitely order these again. Curious as to how long the batteries will last ... show more

I purchased two of the 8 packs of solar lights (16 total), and 4 of the lights are defective. They have been switched on, and fully charged, yet do not emit any light. The other 12 work fine, but a 75% success rate is not great quality control. I have emailed customer service and asked for replacements for the 4 defective lights.
