We bought this for our grandson's second birthday and decided to get it charged up before the party so that he could ride it right away. But the battery would not charge. So we returned it and got another one thinking the first one was a dud. But the second one wouldn't charge either!! So we ended up not having a gift for him at his party, as the second one arrived the day of the party. It was a bummer. But this item is defective. Two in a row would not charge. The media could not be loaded. Very hesitate after reading the reviews but I’m glad I got it for my 1 yr old! Loves it & knows how to press all the buttons. He loves to stand the press the button. Sometimes we take it out of the rails and go around the house. I did take advice from another review about cutting the hard plastic by where the battery is to avoid removing the seat every time in order to charge the battery. My children love riding on it! Overall a great product however 2 small issues, the motor is extremely loud (it kind of drowns out the sound effects of the toy) and its hard to charge it, however we did cut a hole like the other review suggested, thanx!
