I shipped this Baja Trailster to my grandson in another state for his 5th birthday. It arrived on time in perfect condition. Today I received a video of my grandson riding his Baja Trailster for the first time over rough terrain at the park & it drives very well! He looks very happy! His dad said he loves it. When his dad finished building it he said, "My grandma loves me!" Then at the park he drove to the playground and said to another little boy, "Look what my grandma got me for my birthday!" I did a lot of research before choosing this Baja Trailster vehicle for my 5 yo grandson, who is tall for his age. It's his first powered ride on, so he needs something that's both safe to learn on and exciting enough for a 5 yo daredevil. The Baja doesn't have many reviews here, so I'm glad I found it on YouTube after reading a "Best Top 10" article that ranked the Baja as having the best traction on off-road rough terrain. The videos show it easily going over rough yard/park/playground terrain and hills! It's got a lot of power and can go slow or fast off-road. This is important to me because my grandson rides his bikes and scooter at the parks and playgrounds almost everyday, so I wanted to give him a vehicle that will be fun on grass, hills, soft play area surfaces, beauty bark, gravel, tree roots, and other rough terrain, instead of frustrating. Other features I like: - Both 2.5 and 5 mph speed settings going forward, and 2.5 mph in reverse - A tighter turning radius than similar vehicles - Low center of gravity so it won't tip over - Roll bar for safety - This brand is known for being mechanically reliable and lasting years - It holds up to 130 lbs so two kids can ride together - The roof for shade in hot sun - It was available in his favorite color, red & looks awesome! - It's the right size for him now, and he can ride it until he's 7 or 8 years old. It doesn't have working lights, but you can buy rechargeable or battery-operated kids' bicycle lights that will clamp onto the front and back if you plan to use it at night. ... show more

I ordered this in July and put it together right away, followed all directions and battery care. It's only September and the battery doesn't hold a charge and is leaking powder and the company won't fix this. Definitely suggest going elsewhere for your power wheels unless you want to be sent a bad battery and told they don't want to help you fix your problem. Return window is a month. Normal Amazon return windows are usually longer than that. Definitely avoid this seller. ... show more
