One of the top points for me is the flexibility of the fan. It does not have to be right up to your neck to work. It is powerful enough I do not have to use it on the highest setting. Bought this for my husband who is traveling in hot climates and struggles with overheating. He loves it. It's not terribly loud and comes with 3 different speeds. During one of his trips it was stolen. When he told me I ordered another so he could take it on his next trip because he found it so helpful. I'm surprised people said this was quiet. I found the lowest setting made it a bit hard to have a conversation, and the higher settings were noisy. It is comfortable to wear for me as a big guy and it was cooling (though cannot compete with an evaporative cooling hat or vest). I really like this fan. There are a few drawbacks. The high fan setting does make it harder to hear others around you. However if you want some noise blocking these are fantastic 😉 The neck band is comfortable but it causes a sweat place on the back of your neck. It slides around and can be uncomfortable. Wore this to a hot race day. Perfect for walking around in the heat. I've even wore it with my camel back and fits in the perfect spot to not interfere with the straps. I like how you can rotate the angle so it doesn't blow too much in your eyes either. Favorite neck fan I've even owned.
