This AC really works well. This is much easier to use for a window and easily cools the bedroom. I used this for a week while my A/C was out and the A/C guy could not get here in time. Overall, this is a nice solid machine. It is a bit more noisy than central A/C but pretty similar to hotel A/C noise. The only thing that you need to worry about is how you want to vent the hose as you have to get rid of the water somewhere. I used the attached hose and connector to pull it outside. The size is fair, thin not too big will be perfect for a room. The cooling is very nice , not too noisy which is very good!! Installation is very easy and the steps are clear to follow.

    • Great little air conditioner
It keeps my bedroom cool. Very easy to install in the window. A lot of settings for comfort level. I am really liking it. It does the job. Glad I found this one. And the handles make it easy to move. It had to go upstairs. No problems at all. The remote is great too.

    • Good ac and easy install

The unit itself is nice. Rolls good on hard floor and really simple to install verses a larger window unit which has to have the window more open creating a larger risk of water run in etc without somehow rigging it more sealed and secure in the window. This will put less stress in the window and allow you to seal it all up easier without it taking as much effort and time. The only downside is now the unit is inside instead of in the window but doesnt take up alot of room. The other issue which is already known is the heat that goes through the tube technically can still warm some inside because its not in the window going out like a window unit but im sure there are ways to fix this if its a concern. Pros and cons but overall this is a great option especially if a thin walled building or like in my place im using it for my reptile room which i have most windows blocked off and shut and insulated. This lets me open on a little to add the ac instead of me having to sacrifice for other potential issues as the room mainly stays in the 80s and high 70s. With summers getting real warm this will allow it to stay warm but not get as warm as it does in summer without a ac in there. I also though about venting it under my floor which may help keep the floor a bit warmer while at the same time cooling the room off some then wouldnt have to use the window at all. Will figure out if I want to try this when summer gets here and its being used more. ... show more

I’m really impressed with this portable air conditioner. It’s fully equipped with features, delivers cool, crisp air, and the remote control is highly responsive. Unlike a window unit, this A/C doesn’t put strain on the window frame, and from the outside, it’s barely noticeable. The ability to switch between fan, dehumidifier, and air conditioner modes adds great versatility. It is a bit noisy, but on a par with a window unit or maybe a bit quieter. Setup is straightforward and intuitive. The window panel design allows for easy adjustment to get a perfect fit, and the hose slides in and out of the unit for easy storage. The A/C is also mounted on wheels, making it easy to move and reposition. My only minor concern is the hose material, which feels a bit thin and might be susceptible to damage from pet claws, though all other components are sturdy and well-built. ... show more
