Review is for the Poolwhale Vacuum. Used for a Coleman Spa. If you have one of the Coleman or Intex Spa's like I do this is a great option for a vacuum. I would use this for anything up to a 12 or maybe even a 16 foot steel walled above ground pool. Anything bigger than that and I would say yes, you need to go with the bigger, heavier duty vac. But for the purposes mentioned, it works fantastic. The instructions say not to use over a 20 foot hose due to pressure. Pressure needed to increase suction. But if your house is like mine with good water pressure, my porch hose is 50 feet and no problem. Plenty of suction. Good instructions. Easy to assemble. (took 2 minutes). Good suction even with a 50 foot hose. Worked great. There are really no negatives. This entire kit costs less than just a pole I had to use when I had an in-ground pool. Disassembles to fit into a small box. Easy 5 stars on this purchase. One note. The adapter between the hose and input on the vacuum head doesn't always lock right in. Easy, just push the round adapter forward and it will stay. You can always buy a better adapter at someplace like TS for a few bucks. They are the same type adapters but the big box home improvement stores and TS are heavier and better adapter. It would definitely be worth it to go with one of the better cheap adapters. I have no complaints. To get the pro pool level costs six times as much and is not needed for my purposes. ... show more

I mean, you get what you pay for. We got an above ground pool the beginning of May. I didn’t want to spend a fortune on a fancy vacuum especially being our pool isn’t that big. This vacuum was easy to assemble. Definitely exceeded my expectations on such a small budget. Can’t complain. It works. Parts do seem cheap but it gets the job done. **Be advised the velcro on the filter bag can get sand stuck to it very easily.** I cleaned it the best I could but I’ll be cleaning the filter out from the other end in the future in fear the Velcro won’t give a complete closure when in use and sand will just be dispersed throughout the pool. 4 out of 5 stars due to cheapness of parts and closure on filter bag. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I wanted some thing I could do in between our pool maintenance vendor who maintains our pool. Hurricane Milton came through and laughed a bunch of leaves, debris, bugs, etc. in the pool and it was a mess. We obviously knew nobody was going to come and clean it up so it was up to us to keep it tidy until things got back to normal. Plus, it’s helpful to maintain the pool in between regular maintenance. This is great for that.! It is not some thing where you can just bend over and easily glided without getting in the pool be prepared to have to get into your pool to do this. However, it works great and it is easy to do and put together. Great for the price and it was exactly what we were looking for. We purchased the net to go with this to help maintain the top of the pool as we had a smaller net and it just wasn’t cutting it. That was a great addition. Big thanks!!! ... show more

I bought this in June 2024. Used it probably 3 or 4 times. Works well for the purpose but today, 2 months later the string holding the nylon bag broke essentially making it useless.

We have a 5x7 above ground pool and keeping the bottom clean and not completely changing the water weekly or more has been impossible to avoid. This tool has kept the pool clean and works so well. Easy to use and does the job. Loved it so much got one for my neighbors. Sucks Up little dirt/sand every well as well as the bristles on the bottom, they do a good job at getting along the corners to get the debris. 10/10 simple. Efficient. Does the job. Affordable. Literally only uses your hose for suction. Get it! ... show more

Is this cheap plastic? Yes. Is it perfect? No. Does it suck up little bits of sand/gravel that sink to the bottom of a pool? Yes. Bought this for my kids little pool. Works great for a small area. I like that it doesn't require batteries or a power supply. You just hook it up to a hose and the water pressure creates the suction. I could see how, if you have really bad water pressure, this product might not clean very well. But for small pools (think 10x10 ish) that are 18in-24in or so, it works great. ... show more

I was honestly expecting this to be some cheap junk, but it actually works pretty well. The design creates a lot of suction to pick up leaves and other debris. The bag holds quite a lot of stuff in and stays on well. The two big downsides are the size of the opening and the part that connects to the hose. The hose part disconnected a few times while using and doesn't seem to lock in very well. The small opening for collecting the debris clogs up very easily, especially if you have any twigs in the pool. If you're using this in a small pool or hot tub, it'll probably be amazing for you. If you have a larger pool or have a tree near by, pay more for a bigger one that will get the twigs The concept is solid, but I'll be returning mine and getting one with a bigger opening so it doesn't get clogged as easily. ... show more
