Where has this vacuum been all my life? I no longer have to drag out the big pool hose and connect to filtration system for daily maintenance. I also now avoid having extra debris going into filtration system too! This vacuum is used daily and with great joy! I waited to write this review to make sure I had tested long enough. After 3 months of daily use, I will rate 5 stars. I have had an inground pool for over 40 years with a deep end of 9 feet. I am so please with this vacuum for its performance and ease of use. I use daily to pick up a debris that has fallen in the pool. We have a high traffic pool which I do keep pristine! I use my own expended pole to reach 9 feet areas bc the pole that comes with set is not long enough. This vacuum picks up large and small leaves, smaller debris such as bugs, sand with ease and excellent suction! It works well to vacuum steps leading into shallow end and has a long battery life. I am thankful every time I use that I researched and spent the money on this specific vacuum. I read in the reviews that someone had issues with the vacuum leaving debris when removed. Don't turn off vacuum until you have lifted from water and moved to the side. Nothing will be dropped into the pool if you follow these steps. Also, easy to clean. I place in a bucket of water or rise with hose quickly. I do take care of this vacuum and do not leave in sun. Only thing I have noticed after a few uses was the charging plug exterior is getting rusty. I am careful to let the unit dry before charging. I have had no issues with charging or life of battery so I am assuming this is not an issue internally. I will update review if I find it problematic. Last comment, I love the pink - purchased pink bc it was available more quickly but honestly it is easy is see the vacuum head underwater in pink in the deep end. Happy cleaning! ... show more

This thing has blown me away! It has vacuumed up giant piles of dead leaves from the bottom of my pool. In about 5 separate passes, it has cleared up all the leaves and junk on the pool floor. I’m amazed at how much it sucks up. I haven’t used it for a long time, so I can’t speak to longevity, but for the price, I’ll be happy with whatever lifespan I get from it. Battery life seems good, although I typically use it to vacuum whatever has collected in the center, so we’re talking 5-10 minutes at a time. I can say that I’ve used it about 3 times now without charging in between and it seems to still have strong battery life. It will not pick up fine particles and algae (but I believe the product description mentions that) as it will blow a cloud back into the water. But outside of that wishlist item, it’s a great vacuum for the money. Highly recommend. One thing to note, the included pole is on the shorter side, however it fits the standard pool skimmer/brush/vacuum extension pole. UPDATE: 1 full season in and this thing performed amazingly well. It will just push fine particulate back into the pool water, so keep that in mind. But for just an easy and effective way to vacuum larger stuff out of the pool, I highly recommend this. ... show more

Love this pool vacuum it’s easy to use and to charge. It comes with several filters depending on what you are trying to suck up it gets all the leaves from the bottom of my pool and sucks up dirt and grime too. My favorite new toy and I am a newbie to owning a pool. Highly recommend!

Whey unboxed, it seemed small... thought to myself, "..well, I'll give it shot. way smaller than it looked in the pictures.." but it is also for spas, so it would have a small setup... anyways, this thing works like a charm!! lots of suction power, easy to use and clean. Faster and more efficient than using the pool pump suction hose and stupid vacuum heads. my only complaint is the telescoping pole is a waste. I have 6 ft deep pool and was bending over to get to the bottom, so I put my normal pool pole on it and off I went. definitely worth the money and highly recommend picking one up. I went through 4 different vacuum heads when i should have just bought this out of the gate. ... show more

    • Lose the vacuum hose!

We have a fairly small pool (12 x 24 foot oval) and it was such a pain to have to get out the hose and put on the vacuum cleaner head just to clean up some dirt and debris. So I figured a cordless hand vac like this one would be a great option for when I didn't need to do a full blown cleaning. Much to my surprise this little vacuum worked so well I doubt I'll ever bother with the whole hose ordeal ever again. With the fine filter bag installed it picks up everything from small leaves and dead insects right down to fine particles. Even when the pool was pretty dirty this summer I never ran out of battery during a cleaning session. In my opinion this is very good value for the price. Lose the hose! The media could not be loaded. We just have a 10x10x2 foot deep pool for the kids. My toddler decided to throw a bunch of dirt in it so I wanted a pool vacuum. This did not disappoint! It came half assembled and with a charge so I could use it right away. I was impressed that it was able to suck up the pine needles. It doesn't get 100% of the dirt out, obviously, but it gets the bigger gritty bits and the pool filter will take care of the rest. It seems like a good quality product (not sure about durability and longevity yet). It's not big and clunky, it is easy to use! I'd say it's a great value for the price. I like it. ... show more
