The bags come shipped folded in a little box for ease of storage, and they fit just like the Polaris brand bags. One Polaris brand pool bag will run you about $40. Here you can get three for less than $25. I have a 35,000 gallon pool so I run my cleaner 4 hours a day, 6 hours after I mow, on windy days when leaves are blowing, or right up until the time we have pool party. An average Polaris brand bag last me about 18-24 months before it starts ripping, the Velcro stops "velcroing" or the zipper gets stuck . I find these replacement bags last just as long depending on use. In fact I just checked and my first order of these three bags was summer of 2015 and I just reordered them again, Summer of 2019 when put the last bag in the box on the Polaris. If you look at the cost, $40 for one bag or less than $25 for three bags it's a no brainier. ... show more

    • Get these - Don't buy the expensive ones!
I have had my Polaris for many years & absolutely love it. It is at the point of replacing parts here & there. These bags are great! they are easy to install, have a good amount of room for debris and they zip. Zipping seems to be so much better than the velcro, the velcro always shut when I was trying to empty which was very annoying. The factory bags are like 4 times more expensive for no reason I can detect after having both. ... show more

    • Best idea to have multiple bags on hand!
What's good about 3 bags? Well, when you have a dirty one on your Polaris, take that one off, and immediately put on an extra clean bag! The best way to clean these bags is to let them dry out. Then the debris just flakes off and/or is also easily shaken off the nylon fabric. Trying to clean these bags when wet is time consuming trying to get all that grit off of it from all the tiny crevices. Even using a hose to wash it off really doesn't make it much easier! The 3rd bag is there in case one of them tears - which hasn't happened to us yet. Best idea to have multiple bags on hand! ... show more

    • Lasts longer than I expected
For the very cheap bargain price, I figured I'd get maybe a month out of these bags before they fall apart. However, the replacement bag has surpassed 6 months of daily use. I had expected to have a bag last about a month apiece and be buying more bags at this point, but nope. It looks no different than how the OEM Polaris bags would look at the 6 month mark. And funny, but just like the OEM bags, the zipper gets gummed up a bit from the sediment in my pool and occasionally is hard to zip up, but nothing a little rinse won't fix, and definitely no different than what I was dealing with the Polaris branded bags. I can't decide whether I like the velcro closure or the zipper closure. Performance-wise I think there's really no major difference in as much as holding the bag closed or keeping stuff from leaking out. Although I feel that it's much easier to determine that the zipper is fully closed as sometimes with the velcro system I may leave a small gap if I don't like up the edges completely square. ... show more

Fits the Polaris 3900 and picks up grout and debris just as well as the original bag that's many times as expensive. The velcro holds up well. The zipper is sturdy. The plastic attachment can be a little difficult to undo when servicing the bag, because the corners of the oval piece are sharp instead of slightly rounded like the original. Using a nail file you can round them in under a minute, so still worth the price difference. The original bag's velcro got loose and the bag got in the wheels and got ripped apart, so in that sense there's no difference between the OEM and this bag. ... show more

    • Works perfectly to replace old bags
If you are like me, you want to have several good bags available for your pool cleaner. At least two and more is better. Take old one off the pool cleaner and let dry in the sun, replace with empty or new one. When the new bag gets full, the old one is dry and can be easily emptied and then replace the one on the pool cleaner. They work as good as the original bags. ... show more

We bought these bags as replacements for our name brand Polaris bag. We decided to give them a try as we got 3 for less than one of the new Polaris ones would have cost. We have been very pleased so far and have not noticed any real difference in quality. Even if they do not last as long - they are worth it. The only thing they do not have - is the plastic clip at the top that you can put through the velcro tab on the bag and attach to the hose - KEEP the one from your old bag. You can just velcro the bag to the hose - but it is not as convenient. ... show more

    • Works Perfect!
Snapped right in place on the Polaris 280 and did just what it was supposed to... Catch the leaves that just keep falling. Zipper works very well when cleaning it out. Pool is now well swept looking good!
