    • I no longer have to manually refill my pool due to evaporation
I received the auto pool leveler, along with several accessories that came in the package. These included a pipe fittings coupling (3/4 X 3/4 G female thread), a brass garden hose connector, a pipe strap, two stainless steel hose clamps, a stainless steel mesh strainer (which was already inserted), two screws, and a right-angled elbow with a female thread. The automatic water leveler maintains the water level in my pool automatically. It operates by adjusting the position of a float to control the water flow. When the water level reaches the float's set position, the water flow stops automatically. Conversely, if the water level falls below this position, the water flow resumes. In short, it keeps my pool at the desired water level without me constantly monitoring. To install it, I adjusted the float height. To do this, I rotated and removed the transparent bucket, set the float to the desired height for my pool’s water level, and then securely replaced the transparent bucket. Next, I connected the water inlet pipe. I attached it to the water pipe joint, and since my water pipe did not have a joint, I used the provided joint for installation. I double-checked the correct direction of the water inlet and outlet as indicated by the arrow on top of the device. The filter screen at the water inlet was already installed and it prevents any debris from entering the system, which I believe is a must-have for maintaining the device's longevity. Finally, I secured the device. I used the provided pipe strap to fix the entire switch to the floor. I took care that the water level switch would stay in place and not move or get dislocated over time. Since installing the automatic pool filler over a month ago, I no longer have to manually refill my pool due to evaporation. The float switch is not sensitive enough to fully shut off the water, so it's a perpetual noisy trickle. Very cheaply made. The attachment is not for a standard garden hose, so had to buy 1/2" PVC threaded male fitting to connect to water supply.

    • It is working just fine
I ordered this pool filler automatic water leveler from Amazon Vine, and it is was easy to put together and install, and after I connected it to my regular water pipe, I was able to get it working right away. Once I set it to keep the water in my pool at a consistent level, it automatically fills the water in my pool without me having to constantly check and manually fill the pool, so it has been saving me a lot of time and effort, especially during the hot summer days when my pool water tends to evaporate faster. Therefore, I am quite satisfied with this pool leveler automatic water filler because it does a good job making sure the water level remains stable, and I haven’t had any issues with it overfilling or underfilling. ... show more

This hot weather has made it necessary to put water in the pool daily, not just from evaporation, but from the kids jumping and splashing. We set up this Pool Filler Automatic Pool Fill Water Leveler auto Filler Water Level Control and hooked it to the hose that we fill the pool with, and now it just does it's thing whenever the water level drops. I don't have to set a timer to keep from overfilling the pool, and I don't have to remember to turn the water on. I seriously don't know why we didn't get one before - as it makes keeping the pool at the right level a breeze! ... show more

The device in general works well, however, when I used the hose fitting that was supplied by the manufacturer, it caused rusty stains (permanent), on the pool edge. Very disappointed by this as I read reviews that were mostly positive. Head to your local hardware store and buy a stainless adapter and throw theirs in the garbage! ... show more
